We have always been happy with our relationship with Harris Kia indeed we have purchased 3 vehicles from them. Most recently we were trying to decide whether we would buy out our Leased Rondo. I had been dealing with Rachel Roy over 6 weeks as we approached our decision. A week ago my wife and I met with Rachel Roy to test drive some new vehicles so we could compare and make a fully informed decision. Without a doubt Rachel offered superb customer service with warmth, understanding and grace. No pressure at all - just informed answers to our questions. She is without a doubt the BEST car salesperson we have ever dealt with. As it turned out we did not buy a new car but bought out our lease. Rachel understood and was totally supportive. Jeremy Allen also supported us 100% in dealing with the licencing and documentation. He is totally professional, supportive and very friendly. A class act at Harris Kia Nanaimo! More
I really can't say enough good things about this dealership! I first came in to talk to Mike about the Van I had purchased there a few years ago. Mike no problem no questions asked came out to look at my Van for me so we coulld address the issue. As I waited I decided hy not just buy a newer vehicle that is easier on the bank account gas wise! So I hear this girl say "I just want to dance" at first I thought, me too lady, then I remembered my mission... a new Car. Not only did this girl want to dance! She was ale to sell me a car! Rachel was the most amazng person to deal with! She listened as I went throough all my crazy ideas o what a car needed to be, then when I changed my mind less then 24 houors later she was more than accomidating! She, with the help of Randy, worked out a deal that would work in my budget! I then went and worked through my budget and money detail with Jeremy! Jeremy is fun to deal with. I forgot that I was in a car dealership and felt like I was chatting and joking around with a friend. Thats actually how I feel about each individual that I spoke with over buying my car. I never once got a bad feeling from any of these people and strong suggest if you want to feel welcome and enjoy buying a new car, trauck van whatever, and want a good laugh, go see the people at Harris Kia! This is my second vehicle from there for a reason! I will never look towars another dealership nor other people to deal with because I actually had fun and laughed, a lot, while buying my new car! On a miserable rainy Sunday 2 weeks ago, we walked onto the Harris Kia car lot. Christine came out to great us in a non pressured approach, her friendly nature and kind spirit caught our attention. She invited us to just browse and was very informative about the products she was selling. We left that day - without buying anything, but knew we would return. 3 weeks later we returned to Harris Kia to purchase a 2013 sportage for my husband. Roy had his work cut out for him negotiating the best deal and locating the car in the Comox Valley. Christine went to the Comox Valley to pickup our sportage for us while RJ completed the complex paperwork. With the low pressure sales environment, laughter from the moment you walk through the door..and hospitality that came from ALL staff during our busy day... We left the Harris Kia with 2 brand new cars...the Sportage for my husband and a Optima for myself. Christine was an absolute pleasure to deal with....RJ went the extra mile in securing the financing and detail packages and Roy was the best King Pin a dealership could have at the helm... His management style is refreshing and rewarding for everyone. Great work Team. (Christine, Roy, and RJ stayed 1 hour passed closing to ensure we learned all the ins and outs of our new cars. We received bonus trips x2 to Las Vegas and we re gifted 1 of the Las Vegas Trips to our Super Sales Person Christine.. Hope you enjoy your trip. You so deserve it... My experience with Harris Kia was by far the best experience anyone could ask for at any car dealership. We all know car shopping can take time and being a mom to a 15 month old son – I already had m experience anyone could ask for at any car dealership. Wednesday November 28th- I went to the Harris Kia website, browsed around their inventory and sent off a quick email to them. Not a word of a lie, within minutes I received a phone call from Rachel. We were able to book an appointment which best suited my schedule, over the phone she sounded polite and eager to help. Thursday November 29th- I meet the lovely Rachel, and we looked at both the Kia Rio sedan and hatchback to figure out which one would best suit my needs. Took it for a test drive and I was feeling pretty good about the car, not once did I ever feel pressured into making a decision. Rachel made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, she kept the experience enjoyable and relaxing never once making me feel as if I was being forced into a purchase. After meeting with the Jeremy we went over my options on leasing and financing and Jeremy was very clear on giving me details on both and make sure the information was well understood. Jeremy was honest, friendly and also easy to talk to, he gave his opinions on both options and what he felt would be my best choice. Jeremy was prompt with letting us know we got approved, he seemed just as excited for us as we were. Friday 30th- I choose a color that they didnt have at the nanaimo dealership but had in Victoria to my surprise without my commitment to the purchase they had arranged to get the color I had wanted. Rachel was very patient with me as I made sure the Rio sedan had the room I was wanting and as I took it for my final test drive just. The car was still needing the undercoating so I wasnt able to drive it home that night, in a our talks Rachel had got it out of me that my birthday was that saturday. Saturday December 1st- we had made arrangements for me to pick up the car at 4pm giving the undercoating time to cure, which I now believe was just to buy Rachel a little time while she planned a birthday surprise for me. Upon arriving at the dealership I had no idea that the incredible staff was waiting in the entrance for me to greet me and sang me happy birthday. The car was presented to me with balloons and a few gifts in which I was very thankful for. Rachel and I went over the entire car once more and she kept it very exciting and made this car shopping experience a positive experience for me. My Kia experience was the best Ive had at a dealership, the team made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They gave me the impression they were just as excited to see me in a new 2013 Kia Rio as much as I was to be in one. I will highly recommend to anyone that they give Kia a try and can promise that they wont be disappointed in the product and delivery of service from the Harris Kia staff..... thank you so much Rachel and Jeremy PS- did I mention I won the trip to Vegas!!!! I hate buying and selling cars however, I was pleasantly surprised at Kia in Nanaimo. Christine was so enthusiastic and I actually enjoyed the experience and the price was very competitive. Our first Kia was a Spectra 5 that we bought in 2007 and we have been happy Kia customers ever since then. After our family started growing, we were thinking about buying a bigger car. We had a look at a Ki we have been happy Kia customers ever since then. After our family started growing, we were thinking about buying a bigger car. We had a look at a Kia Rondo in January 2012, but the timing wasn't quite right for us back then. After taking our Spectra in for a service in October of 2012, Christine drove us home and on the drive told us about the great deals on Rondos that were available. So, one weekend we dropped by the dealership and noticed that they had a similar Rondo in stock than the one we had looked at in January. Christine took us for a test drive and answered all of our questions. This time around everything came together and we decided to buy the Rondo. Christine went out of her way to help us, going so far as playing with our two year old toddler and keeping him occupied while we were dealing with the paperwork. RJ handled the financial details and they both stayed an hour after closing time to make sure we were settled in our new Kia. An unfortunate mistake did happen in the financing department, but Dave Bare and Randy Heller made sure that we were more than compensated for this mistake. Dave also made sure to tell us that measures have been put in place to ensure that it never happens again to anybody. I can honestly say that the folks at Harris Kia do value their customers and they proved this to us in a number of different ways. Thank you Harris Kia, we will be back! More
