Took my mazda (under warranty) for a small repair. The talk started with the dealership charging diagnostics fees. They wont tell u about over the phone when you book the appointment. After some resistance they did agree to look at car with a quick comment that most likely the repair would be chargeable. Took it a different dealership. The dealer fixed the car in 2 min. Beware of these people - this dealership seems to be in business of minting money - doesnt give mazda like experience. Really sad! More

Wish I never ordered a car from here. I ordered my Mazda3 on MAY 2022 and cancelled my ordered SEPT 2023. Yup 1.5 years later. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to ever buy from this dealership and absolutely regret placing an order with them. Had I ordered with probably any other dealership I would’ve been driving my car long ago. After placing my order and paying a deposit I received essentially no communication from this dealership. I worked directly with the Sales Manager Saiss who told me to text him for any concerns yet never responded to my calls or text. I had to call multiple times and leave numerous vm and messages with the front desk before he returned any calls. Undoubtedly unprofessional from his end. In addition, whenever I did get him on the phone he would give me vague and useless answers. When I asked him for the timeline of my car he just said it would be coming soon. I asked him about rising interest rates and to provide me updated pricing sheets so I could better understand the financials of this but as usual he ghosted me. He wouldn’t even email me the pricing sheet we went over despite asking numerous times. After 10 months and being fed up with being ghosted and not getting any updates I emailed upper management cc’ing Mazda Canada and OMVIC. That finally got the general managers attention who emailed me back apologizing and saying he could get me my car in their next month’s allocation. The following Monday I called him, no the GM didn’t call me to rectify the situation I called him, he told me he would attempt to get my car or swap cars with another dealership to get me my order. This option was never provided to me by Saiss. After 2 weeks I’m told my car has been allocated and I could take delivery end of May. However, after following up at the end of April I’m told my car is being further delayed until July. When I asked Paul (GM) what compensation he would provide me for this absolute unprofessional and downright pathetic display of customer service from his staff, he offered me nothing and said I could simply cancel my order. I decided to stick it through and in July I was told it’sfurther delayed until August, then I’m told Sept and then October. Mind you I never received an update without me reaching out first. I then tried asking Paul to do a dealer swap for the 2024 turbo to which he said there’s no stock and denied it. I ended up calling Cobourg Mazda and they found me my EXACT spec via dealer trade within 24 hours and I took delivery the following week. Gyro obviously had no intention of delivering me my car and hide behind “delivery delays” and offered no alternate options. Worst of all I asked Paul about a letting me know if a Turbo becomes available, and not only did he not let me know when one did, he added 9k worth of xx add-ons and stuck it in his showroom! Gyro Mazda completely soured the experience of buying a new car and wasted 15 months of my time and not to mention my money as I had to pay a higher cost for the car. I would stay as far away from Gyro Mazda as you can and especially from the sales manager Saiss who would rather ghost his customers than answer simple questions. If you want to experience a level of customer service you would get at a TTC station and want your order to never be fulfilled by incompetent sales people I’d recommend going to Gyro Mazda. Otherwise do yourself a favour and go to literally any other dealer in the GTA. More

However, Their hidious negotians way made me leave that comment, I wanted to get my rims in black, and they gave me a price of 1500$ ( not for new rims) to just modify it, and i discovered that later, you could get original black rim for 500dolars( not mosifies), I can easly assume modification would only cost 200-300$ dollars, and my dealer gave me a discount over this overpricing which is ridiculous( even though i am making a cash payment, no lease no nothing). Carefull with negotiation, won’t recommend anybody unless you have a good deal on the car More

December rolls around and I'm told the order can't be produced due to the color so I asked about the GT. Heard nothing for over a month so I followed up and got something nearly end of January.. Pricing that was provided didn't make sense so I asked for the pricing breakdown which I didn't get. Asked if the deal was still proceeding as I was left in the dark so I got frustrated and asked for my deposit back. I was told it would be returned by the GM.. called him up and he had no idea about it? Had to speak to the GM due to the sales manager (both) avoiding my calls. Kevin called and asked why I was cancelling and I said I had no idea what I was buying and wanted to take my business elsewhere. He removed the financing fee of $500 which again was outrageous but forced me to pay for the $500 secure drive fee. Dipped me on my trade for $500 and told me "used car value is dipping and it's just the reality and the best he could do" yet he posted my trade for $29k. Interesting.. I essentially walked with nothing for my issues and he dipped me on my trade. This place is crooked. Anna Maria was great and Yano was great though. Only good things about this dealership. More

A total nightmare dealing with Gyro Mazda. I ordered a Mazda 3 GT in July and was promised it would take 3 months. I bought a used Mazda GX from them in July while waiting for the new vehicle. I ordered a Mazda 3 GT in July and was promised it would take 3 months. I bought a used Mazda GX from them in July while waiting for the new vehicle. However, there was no VIN number or any update until November, they never update me with the delay until I asked, and told me that it would probably take until March for the vehicle to arrive. I then decided to purchase a CX5, for which they charged me CAD1700 for a ceramic coating as it was a cancelled order. A few days before arrival I was told there was damage during the transportation. They refused to compensate me anything, I was told that I would have to wait for another two weeks. I then had enough and trade-in my Mazda 3 with another dealership, got the car in less than a week plus with a higher trade-in offer compared to Gyro, where I bought the used car. Also, the deposit took 2 weeks while a refund of any kind normally takes less than a week, everything just takes extra long at Gyro I guess. Be aware of the extra cost that they tried to include in the quote and they would not include the discounts you are qualified for until you ask. More

One of the worse repair service experience i’ve ever experienced from a dealer. If I can give it zero stars I would. Their service advisors are inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about cars and experienced from a dealer. If I can give it zero stars I would. Their service advisors are inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about cars and took forever to get back to me, and they tried to get me to pay for repairs for issues that they failed to diagnose expertly. My car wouldn’t start on the weekend of October 14th and I had it towed to Gyro Mazda to have them check it out. Before they even start they want you to pay $200 for a computer diagnostic. Ok, so I pay $200 for a computer diagnostic, then they said I need a new alternator, drive belt, battery and water pump and gave me a quote of $3k. While my car was sitting in the dealers lot all of a sudden they said that the transmission wouldn’t go into gear and gave me an estimate of $6k for a “new” transmission per Janka and that they can't fix it until I pay them $3k to fix the alternator. Well, guess what? I had it towed to a specialist that I trust and they fixed the tranny issue at half the price AND they said that there was no issue with the alternator, drive belt or water pump. I asked the manager of the service advisors (Cherrity sic?) to send me a detailed printout of the diagnostics before I had my car towed to the specialist and that was 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting. I am glad I got a second opinion because these guys are just either incompetent or dishonest and hold you to ransom on repairs using the computer diagnostics as leverage. BTW Cherrity I am still waiting for you to send me the details of the diagnostic and Janka per your Parts Manager the tranny that you quoted me $6k on what not a new unit, it was a used unit from the scrapyard! Gyro Mazda may have spent millions upgrading their facilities, and their sales staff may have received favourable reviews, but their Service dept cannot be trusted. Never take your Mazda for repairs there, their Service Advisors and mechanics are amateurs and do not live up to the Mazda's supposedly "premium" reputation. Thanks to my quick thinking and 6th sense in not trusting the "professional" advice of this dealer I saved $6k! More

Part 2, unprofessional dealings with the receptionist. When asked to be transferred to the Service department, she asked me WHO in the Service department I wanted to connect with. A customer wouldn't personally know all Service, Sales and/or parts department employees. In my eyes, very childish behaviour from the receptionist. As mentioned, I will not return to Gyro Mazda. Even individuals that I recommended Gyro Mazda to are also sharing negative experiences with me. Prior, I would advocate for Gyro Mazda. Now they lost another group of customers. More

After driving my previous car for 16 years, it was beyond time for something new. Nick was very attentive, knowledgeable and honest. Unfortunately, the delivery time of the new Mazda 3 GS I ordered got pushe time for something new. Nick was very attentive, knowledgeable and honest. Unfortunately, the delivery time of the new Mazda 3 GS I ordered got pushed back and I needed something sooner than later. When I asked Nick about comparable used vehicles, he respected what was important to me and only called when a viable option became available. I ended up with a great, low km 2020 Mazda 3 GT and even in the colour I wanted. It may be a challenging time to purchase a vehicle but I felt GYRO MAZDA worked hard to get me a terrific car and I couldn't be more pleased. More
