I bought brand new Kia Sportage x line limited 2023 from tillsonburg KIa last may and since then it’s service was done at Lambton Kia; Sarnia, ON dealership, I just moved to Kitchener, Ontario and went for tillsonburg KIa last may and since then it’s service was done at Lambton Kia; Sarnia, ON dealership, I just moved to Kitchener, Ontario and went for my 5th due regular service at Guelph Kia and was not even close to satisfied. First of all, the attitude of Scott was not welcoming and felt like there was a smell of racisim and he claimed that Lambton Kia didn’t do my last service well and I was scammed as he mentioned particularly about brakes that the quality they provided was not up to the mark and he gave me estimate of 4 particular things that needed immediate requirement, out of which one was the cabin filter, i denied as I knew nothing was required, even I checked the filter myself and have proof as in picture that it is perfect. Lastly, I do not smoke being religious it is not even allowed in us to stand nearby or around any kind of smoke, but there was smell of cigarettes in my car after service, when I approached Scott again for it, firstly he denied that he could not sense that and after pushing him to ask his mechanic, he confirmed that he smoked outside the car and then parked it. This kind of behaviour and will to pull out money from customers pocket by stating false requirements is not appropriate. I do not know this kind of behaviour and attitude was just for me or other immigrant customers too. I have been to Lambton Kia, Tillsonburg kia, but this kind of behaviour was not even near at those dealerships though I found Guelph Kia was not near to any of the dealerships I have been to. I think I did mistake buying Kia as I was already a customer of Toyota and never had such kind of attitude and behaviour from them in any of their dealerships. This experience was totally disappointing and regretful, I would never suggest to anyone to buy KIA. I do think the owner of this particular dealership needs to visit service department frequently and should take reviews and feedbacks from customers about his staff, otherwise this could go into loss. By gods grace I do have little knowledge of cars being mechanical engineer that’s why I got saved from these scammers. More
I would have put zero stars if allowed. My daughter is a regular service customer and Guelph Kia. The service advisor is always rude and condescending. On the most recent service after spending $1300 we found that Guelph Kia had not tightened the brake calliper properly that they installed. It was tightened by hand only and was ready to fall off at any point. It was potentially very dangerous for my daughter driving. The issue was identified by a different Kia dealership. When I called Guelph Kia they were rude and insisted it was not their issue. Eventually the second dealership called them to advise it was clearly their issue. In addition they charged for a pair of brake pads, only using one and keeping the other. Both their repair service and how they treat customers is awful. More
I would give a 0 star rating if I could. I was looking for a van and got a call that one was in stock at the dealership. On a Thursday evening I spoke to sales consultant Julisa who informed I was looking for a van and got a call that one was in stock at the dealership. On a Thursday evening I spoke to sales consultant Julisa who informed me at 9:30am the next day another customer was viewing the van. We made a 9am appointment. When my husband and father arrived at 8:45am at the dealership they did not see one van on premise. At 9am when Julisa arrived she met with them and said the van was sold at 8:45am, then quickly offered papers to order the van. My father used to sell cars so he is well aware of any hidden fees or unreasonably high fees, he confirmed Guelph KIA fees were completely unreasonable. Today we went to a different KIA dealership (Brantford) and the fees Guelph KIA were giving us were more than 4x's the price - it is truly unbelievable. I do not trust Guelph KIA. I don't believe there was even a van ready for purchase, I believe it was a ploy to get us there to order one. In fact, the the night before my husband went to Guelph KIA I offered to make a credit card deposit to secure the van on premise but they said no ... things are not adding up. Our experience at Brantford KIA was absolutely great, honest staff with integrity, its worth the drive! More

I went with my daughter (Megan) to look at a 2020 Ford Escape at the Guelph Kia dealership. We got down to the price and after some back and forth with the Kevin the sales guy, he writes on a quote sheet Escape at the Guelph Kia dealership. We got down to the price and after some back and forth with the Kevin the sales guy, he writes on a quote sheet "$27,000 DONE DEAL" and says "so at $27,000 we have a deal". Megan says "yes". Kevin has her initial under the "DONE DEAL" script and then asks for a credit card for a $5,000 deposit. He walks away with the "DONE DEAL" paper and credit card. Megan was trying to contain her excitement about purchasing her very first car. After a few minutes, Kevin returns to say that he can't sell the car to Megan for that price and says the price is $29,500. I have a picture of the quote sheet on my phone and could probably take them to court. The car will undoubtedly be sold so there is obviously no point. Just writing this makes things right because I am confident that there will be people that read this along with the litany of lousy reviews for this dealership and choose to go somewhere else. And yes, when I asked to speak to the Manager....he just stepped out and wouldn't be available..... More
I have been there twice for a tire change. On both occasions they told me that I needed to have my brakes done. I didn't want to have them done then because the dealership where I bought my Ki On both occasions they told me that I needed to have my brakes done. I didn't want to have them done then because the dealership where I bought my Kia (Oakville) was giving me free oil changes etc. On both occasions these were lies (I had the brakes checked at the Oakville dealership and they were good for another few thousand kms - way more thickness than 5 mm limit). I am astounded that places like this are still in business. I now just take my car back to Oakville every time. It's more than an hour's drive away, but I don't want my car serviced by crooks or people you can't trust. More
