Service pricing is way too high. $165 for an oil change that I pay 120 at other Kia dealers. Plus they told me there were doing a 50 point inspection. Service here is beyond poor! From wrong oil in my car to overcharging me by outting the wrong oil in (they used a 2.0 engine optional oil instead of the 3.3l enging oil). Called serveral times and left messages (5 times) and several texts to the service line which only one was answered after they got my money "saying how can I help you" but then they didnt reply once I explained my issues. So total bill was 245.00 dollars for a 169.95 service due to the 12.00 a liter charge for 0w30 oil. After all this the other complaints were not dealt with properly..... Rear end vibration... tech rotated tires and then said vibration was from feathered tires??? Wrong diagnosis completely as I had stated the vibration will stop after you turn a corner....If it were tires it wouldnt stop! Oil leak in between trans and engine.... "no visible leak" when there was clearly oil there during the last service. Continued coolant loss.... A gallon in only 43K "no visible leak" I also eemailed the service Manager and the Dealer principle and have not received a reply in almost 2 weeks. I then contacted Kia Canada and was told all they can do was email them.... I asked how long i should wait for a reply and was told "she doesnt know their schedules" So from March 5th I have not been able to contact this dealer and I should have had a call back right away to address the main issue of the overcharge and the wrong oil...today being March 18th at end of day. I do not recommend this dealer as they dont return calls emails or seem to care about customer service!! More
Gurpreet the salesperson is good, very calm when a dispute arose. She provided a ride to the dealership to purchase the car after I had sold my old one. I ordered a Sportage PHEV in October with an iZEV rebate priced into the purchae agreement. The car was made in December, 2024 and news about the cancellation of the gov rebate came around the same time. There was no contact by Kia to me to inform me of this. When i called in mid January for an update, they informed me for the first time that the IZEV rebate was paused and that i would owe an extra $5000 above what was on the purchase agreement. Kia would not budge on the price of the car or provide any concessions in terms of a discount, extra warranty, service or extra throw ins. Communication after I initiated an email was good, but it was too late at that point. Also, the initial finance manager was very deceptive in telling me I was getting all this extra service, without saying it was really an extra warranty. I almost signed a new purchase agreement with a bottom line that had ballooned, Their negotiation tactics delay the itemized parts of the purchase agreement until a deal is made with the salesperson. I would have preferred up front detailed price structure right from the start. Great car and nice people, but the whole process from Kia management could have been more customer friendly. More
I was welcomed and my concerns were addressed with care and concern in a timely manner. The service tech was considerate of my financial concerns and did his upmost to help me address my concerns.
