Guelph Hyundai

Appointments are overbooked and service takes a very long time to complete. I took my vehicle in at 12:00 on a Friday and it wasn't ready until 5:30. Even then, only service # 2 was completed (lube oil filte time to complete. I took my vehicle in at 12:00 on a Friday and it wasn't ready until 5:30. Even then, only service # 2 was completed (lube oil filter/tire rotation). Other work, including servicing the rear view camera and two recall issues, were not completed or even started. I returned the next week on a Thursday and they had my vehicle for the entire day (rental vehicle was provided) and they again were not able to complete the work order. They called and asked if I could keep the rental vehicle for another day. The next day, Friday, I picked up my vehicle at 3:45. The two recall issues were completed but they had to order a new camera that wouldn't be in until the next week on Thursday. In summary, the Hyundai dealership had my vehicle for two and a half days and I still have to go back. The service staff were friendly and I'm willing to give this dealership another chance to provide great/excellent customer service but only one more chance. I purchased my Sonata at the Orangeville dealership in 2010 and have had it serviced there since. The service was always excellent! The work was completed in an organized and timely manner and the staff were awesome, so friendly and accommodating. I recently moved to Guelph which is why I was hoping to switch dealerships for servicing, however while it would be inconvenient to go to Orangeville, I definitely would as the service is so superior. I purchase my 2012 Elantra in Brampton, the same place my brother purchased his 2012 Sonata. I live in Elora and wanted a more convenient place to get my regular services. I went to the Brampton dealership a couple of times feeling I was getting good service but adequate customer service. It's an impersonal feeling ( this excludes the service of the salesperson I had there- he was fantastic, but has since left the business) I have gone twice to the Guelph dealership for regular scheduled maintenance. Their customer service is great and super-friendly. Their shuttle service was great to a local mall and the driver was so nice and friendly. I never frlet threatened or uncomfortable with her. The service managers at the front desk are fantastic without that "dont question me-- i know more than you" attitude!! Your waiting room more than exceeds the expectations of a service waiting area with the TV, the free wi-fi, the snacks, and the fresh hot drinks with the Keurig coffee maker. To me, its the little touches of thoughtfulness and consideration that make customers want to return. We all ahve to pay the same amount for opur regular maintenance but why not do it somewhere that treats the customer well? Everybody likes to feel special, and Guelph Hyundai managed to do this very well. More

I moved to Guelph just over a year ago, and thought it would be nice to have a license plate cover with the Guelph Hyundai Dealership advertisement for my Hyundai. I went to the service counter at the Guelph Hyundai Dealership to ask someone if they could put the cover on for me. They gladly said yes, and had it done in a matter of only 20 minutes. I thought this was excellent service, especially since I didn't call before hand for an appointment. The person that helped me was very friendly and accommodating.
