Tire rotation, check the brakes, measure the pads, top up all the fluids, grease the hinges and change the oil. I looked at my tires there was no hand marks on the rim or tire - not sure how they took the tires off without using a lock-nut that I had in the back next to the spare wheel - walked around a few times and only seen him drain the oil. No air tools were being used at all. I did purchase the maintenance contract with them that covers lots of stuff. But, I guess your in and out as fast as possible. I will be marking my tires, fluid levels before it goes in again. And, if they do not do what they are required to do then they will be in breach of contract, and I will get legal advice on the matter. Some of the staff are good - others not so much - will continue to purchase/lease Fords but will go elsewhere. It was a much better dealership before it changed ownership. I will continue to service my two vehicles with them for the time being. Giving them a chance to make things good - however my last service kinda soured things. I did email them a few days ago will see if I get any reply from them. More
They hear "clunking ", can't find cause , give up ! My 2015 Lincoln MKC is the perfect car for me..........except for noisy wheel bearings and a nasty "clunking" noise when driven over rough roads. The My 2015 Lincoln MKC is the perfect car for me..........except for noisy wheel bearings and a nasty "clunking" noise when driven over rough roads. The rear bearings were replaced. Some front end grinding noises remain. Poor alignment is blamed for the tire wear ( not the suspension and bearing issues ). Parts were replaced but the problems still persist. The Service Manger went for a ride, heard the noises, but stated that because they can't duplicate the admitted noise in the shop, they will be in trouble with Ford Canada if they replace other parts under warranty that don't fix the problem. When I suggested getting an opinion from a suspension specialist , Dale said that he never trusts private repair shops and that the warranty would not cover such work. He suggested I could try another Ford Dealer if I want. So I'm home now with a unfixed vehicle with noises that won't go away and tires that will continue to wear. More

I have purchased 7 vehicles from this location, and have had leased company vehicles delivered there. Their customer service is not what it used to be! The sales process, is tainted with arrogant jr, business managers who have no business being there in the first place! I will never buy another vehicle from them again. I also have been taking my vehicles else where for service! More

Terrible Customer Service Experience This is a copy and pasted e-maiil I wrote to Ford head office explaining my situation. I am e-mailing due to a very disappointing experience I had This is a copy and pasted e-maiil I wrote to Ford head office explaining my situation. I am e-mailing due to a very disappointing experience I had with Grimsby Ford. I have a maintenance and tire plan that I pay for in my car payments. I called several times between November and December to try to book an oil change appointment and winter tires change. Th sales department would redirect the call to service, and in turn I would either be hung up on (sales desk said there were some issues with the phone) and when I did get through to voicemail, my calls were never returned (we later discovered the woman responsible for booking appointments works from home, which is also frustrating). When I finally did get an appointment for my oil change, I was told that there wouldn't be enough time to add the winter tires as well and would have to make a separate appointment for this. I was unaware that due to the fact my plan entailed maintenance and tires, they would need to be done at the same time in order to be free of charge - otherwise I have to pay for my winter tires to be put on. I was forced to call back at another time to schedule a different appointment for tires, as I did not know my schedule for the upcoming week. The man who booked my oil change did a fantastic job - not sure of his name but he wears glasses in the service department - and I've never had an issue working with him. However, when I dropped off my car I was told they would call me to tell me when it was finished. I dropped my car off at 12:45, an hour before my scheduled appointment of 1:45. After 5pm, I was growing concerned that no one had phoned me yet, so I called the department, and was forced to once again leave a message. They were phoned again after 5:30, only for the sales girl to inform us that service had closed at 5:30 - and they still had my car. We expressed our frustration, and the girl was able to acquire the paperwork and give me my keys - my car had been finished, but they failed to call us and let us know to pick it up. That week, I made several attempts to reach the service department but with no luck. Due to a couple of snow storms, my mom gave me her appointment for Friday, December 15 at 9:45 am, and scheduled hers for a later date. We were told they had "overbooked" themselves. When I dropped my car off, everything was fine. I received a phone call after noon that day advising me it was ready for pick up. When I came to the dealership, I was helped by a woman who informed me that the price was $163. I informed her that the last time I paid for my tires, the only thing I paid for was the storage, and the price should be significantly less. She proceeded to ask for a manager immediately, because she said she must have made a mistake and wanted someone else to look into it. I was helped by the service manager, although helped is a very far stretch as it seems to have been a greater inconvenience than help. He proceeded to tell me that $163 was my total, and I didn't pay that amount last time I was in because they had made a mistake and I should have been paying it. He told me that because my tires were off rims (which was not correct, both sets of tires have rims) it was more money, as well as because I didn't have the oil change done at the same time. Despite 10-15 mins of me persistently telling him that the price was wrong, I was frustrated and eventually forced to pay the full amount of $163. When my father noticed my frustration, he reviewed the invoice and noticed errors on the sheet. I was charged the price for off rim tire change, when, as previously stated, I have rims on both my winter tires and my regular tires. He called the dealership and they said they would refund the difference on Monday. When I got to the dealership on Monday, I was greeted with a front desk girl. When I explained I was there for the refund, she obviously was aware of the situation and said "Actually, what happened was you were supposed to be charged the last time you were here and you weren't," which, again, is not correct information, it is covered under my payment plan that I give Ford every two weeks. Also, not very impressed that she accused me of owing more money, when I'm already strongly displeased with the service at this location. Eventually, without anyone apologizing for the inconvenience, I was issued the refund and sent on my way. I am sincerely disappointed, especially the lack of customer service care at this location. I will definitely not be recommending Ford to anyone, ever, and I will make sure that people know what terrible service I was provided. Never again will I purchase a Ford vehicle. More
Grimsby Ford GROSSLY Overcharged For Labor - Never go here! Friday December 8th while driving through Niagara my vehicle experienced what I felt was a loss of power. Having had no previous difficulty with it I Friday December 8th while driving through Niagara my vehicle experienced what I felt was a loss of power. Having had no previous difficulty with it I wondered if i may have gotten water in a fuel line or bad fuel or something. I exited in Grimsby and put $60 of premium fuel in my tank at 1:54 pm according to my receipt. I drove it on the service road for 5-10 minutes to see if it improved which it didn't. I then went into the nearby dealership, Grimsby Ford. I explained the situation I was in and they were able to get it into the shop at about 2:30 . Not long after I was told that my number 4 coil had gone bad, that they would replace it as well as a couple other things, ie. air filter etc. The price all in was going to be $738.00. There was no breakdown of how it added up to $738, just a verbal request for approval. I needed it fixed so I had to agree. I left to grab lunch across the street and upon return my vehicle was outside ready to go. I paid my bill at 3:52 but on examination of it later I saw that I had been charged $443 plus tax for Labor which amounted to more than $500 of the bill. The vehicle was in the shop for 80 minutes max. I have receipts with times to illustrate this. It seems like an excessive and rather highhanded, cavalier approach to handling a customer that had few options. I called the dealership and spoke to Adam, the service manager, I politely expressed my dissatisfaction with having spent nearly $500 on 80 minutes of labor when there is a big sign in the waiting area that clearly states the shop rate is $120 per hour. Adam the service manager says his mechanic worked fast and suggested that I should be happy that I wasn't sitting there for four hours. Adam the service manager felt justified in telling me he felt it was fair and so of course I feel justified in doing whatever i can do to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the market. Complaining on social media platforms is new to me but I am going to be very good at it in short order. Nice talking to you Adam, I'm going to have to end this now (remember). I've got other platforms to move on to. Copy paste. More
