Overall review Generally good. Nathan was very helpful and the service was completed ahead of schedule,a nd the vehicle was clean. The Service Dept also, at my requ Generally good. Nathan was very helpful and the service was completed ahead of schedule,a nd the vehicle was clean. The Service Dept also, at my request, “reattached” the front lower bumper where some of the clips had detached. This was done poorly (my interpretation as to do a proper job, the lower bumper may need to be replaced as opposed to just re-attaching with new clips) More

Service Jeff went above and beyond to fix my car. It was an issue that was very hard to track down and I think we finally have it. Jeff went above and beyond to fix my car. It was an issue that was very hard to track down and I think we finally have it. More

Total lack of care Driving my 2017 WRX on the highway it died and would not start again for about half an hour, nearly causing a serious accident. Took it to Wolfe Subar Driving my 2017 WRX on the highway it died and would not start again for about half an hour, nearly causing a serious accident. Took it to Wolfe Subaru who said they couldn't do anything as there were no stored codes so all they did was a visual inspection. No concern was shown that the car died and left me in a dangerous situation. Car ran okay for a while, then started to cut out and be difficult to restart when stopped in traffic and when driving. Car went back twice more. They suggested that when it died and had a warning light I should drive it straight to the dealership, not practical when I have to get to work and have no desire to endanger myself again when it dies on the highway. On it's next visit they decided it was the battery, which they changed, but it did not solve the problem. The car was then kept by Wolfe for over a week, so they could replicate the problem, but as there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it happens, that was a long shot. They found an error code in the history which showed a problem with airflow so my husband suggested they took off the air box and checked the filter. The person he spoke to stated that it would have been replaced at the last service, but when he checked it had not. The sum total of their suggestions was that the clutch was heavy and they thought that I was stalling it in traffic. An interesting point as I have owned the car for well over a year and haven't stalled it before, the problem also occurs when my husband drives it, perhaps by some odd twist we have both spontaneously forgotten how to use a clutch, after many years of driving manual cars. It also by no means explains why the car dies whilst driving and when stopped in neutral, the clutch is not in play at that point?? They have suggested we need a new clutch which will cost us 3k, does that speak to the quality of Subaru parts when the battery and clutch need replacing in a car that is two years old with less that 40K on the clock? The whole no codes, can't do anything, makes me wonder if they employ computer techs rather than mechanics, what happened to examining the engine thoroughly to find the problem. Complained to Subaru Canada who just repeated what Wolfe said. They then called and said the car was ready to pick up, with no explanation as to what they had done to solve the problem. The final straw was when my car was returned there was two dirty coffee cups left in it, complete lack of care! More
