Purchased a 2012 civic last dec 2012, got the protection package and extended 5 year warranty. After 3-4 days that we took the car home i realized that I dont need the extended warranty. Called the dealersh package and extended 5 year warranty. After 3-4 days that we took the car home i realized that I dont need the extended warranty. Called the dealership to cancel the warranty, all Anukesh said was all papers have been submitted to the bank and there's nothing she can do. After 2-3weeks of purchase i called again to cancel the said warranty and same story from her. I was very frustrated coz that warranty costs more than $2000. Never know AMVIC after 2 months of purchase and submitted a complaint to them. After weeks of review on my case they cant do anything coz the 30day cancellation period was over. Not making stories here, just want to share my bad experience to this dealership so no one will ever be fooled again by these people. More
It has been six months since my first visit to pointe west honda and feel I can give a honest review of my experiences at this dealership.Back in dec 2012 my wife and I were looking to replace our Ca west honda and feel I can give a honest review of my experiences at this dealership.Back in dec 2012 my wife and I were looking to replace our Camry.I went to pointe west honda to look at the new accord,there I met Neil hedden who was able to explain the different levels,options and costs of the car.Neil also explained to go auto program and dealership to me.I left there with the information I needed to decide on a purchase.After 2months of researching between a Camry or Accord,we decided on the Accord.We went back,saw Neil and found the car we wanted.Our whole experience there was great,everyone was helpful and friendly.Since our purchase I have been back to the dealership for some minor warranty issues,one of which required the service manager Shane to become involved in.Shane was most helpful in listening to my concern and resolving my concern.I have just had our first service done and I continue to receive the same customer service that I did from the first day in the dealership.We are very happy and would recommend this dealership to our friends. Our 2005 Accord Coupe had been stolen so I sent emails to most of the Alberta dealerships looking for help with a replacement. He agreed to meet us that evening, the car was waiting for us when we arrived it was perfect and Ashton helped us work through the deal. Admittedly, given the circumstances I was probably not the happiest but Ashton was very friendly and accommodating very helpful. Purchasing a new vehicle can be a daunting task and walking into a car dealership can be intimidating, especially for a first time new-car-buyer like myself. However, the staff at Pointe West Honda re walking into a car dealership can be intimidating, especially for a first time new-car-buyer like myself. However, the staff at Pointe West Honda really went out their way to make me feel at ease, welcomed, and comfortable throughout the whole process. In particular, my amazing sales associate, CHARLES WILSON, played a major role in the biggest purchase of my life thus far. He had a very cordial, non-pushy demeanor which was evident right from the start. I felt like he was my own personal agent working FOR ME, to help me make the best decision possible and get the best deal possible. He knew the vehicles inside and out, and it was easy to see he had a very high level of knowledege and expertise. Not only did Charles thoroughly answer my questions, but he did so even when I wasn't at the dealership!! A question would pop up in my head and I'd send a text to Charles which he responded to right away!! And Charles wasn't like the typical dealer who we all fear is just trying to extract as much money as possible from a customer. If I asked Charles if something was worth buying (for example, the blue floor light accessory I was thinking of getting), he wouldn't just say yes and urge me to buy it; he actually gave me HIS TRUE AND HONEST opinion (FYI, he thought the floor light was too dim and wasn't worth it)!!! Like I said, I felt that Charles was WORKING FOR ME. He addressed all of my concerns from the mechanics to the pricing, and even style (I got a great set of rims which made my Accord look more sophisticated without being too gaudy). I had a LOT of questions, and he was always patient, informative, and accessible. Actually, I was really impressed with his patience. Had I been the one answering all those questions for someone else, I would have probably just gotten frustrated and annoyed LOL! So thank you CHARLES WILSON and the team over at Pointe West Honda!! My wife and I purchased a 2010 Crosstour from Pointe West Honda and felt that our needs were taken care of and any concerns we had were looked after. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Charles Wilson in regards to the research and eventual purchase of my Nissan. I felt that my needs were being listened to and I was paired with from Charles Wilson in regards to the research and eventual purchase of my Nissan. I went in to the dealership to look at a used car that was advertised and couldn't come to terms on it for price. Ashton managed to turn it around and sell me a new end of model year Accord. The only thing I would recommend is that the customer be listened to......I explained during the process that I work for a dealership, I have a brother who works in the sales department of a dealership, my parents worked in dealerships and I have been a fleet buyer over the years so I don't need to go through the usual retail sales process. Try to tailor the sales presentation to the buyer at hand instead of using the "canned" presentation in both the sales floor and the business office. I appreciated knowing the options available to me to add to the car as well as the finance and warranty options but when I say "no" that's the answer and when I have researched the car and the pricing on the Honda Canada website don't try to up the price of the vehicle. I was treated courteously and professionally but sometimes I felt like I was just another retail purchaser with no knowledge of the product or process. More
Monique was by far the best employee at a dealership that I have ever met. I am already recommending her to all my friends. She was helpful in every aspect of her job, she was not pushy like other sales pe I have ever met. I am already recommending her to all my friends. If she didn't have the answer right away, she found out what I needed to know within minutes. She kept in touch after I purchased the vehicle and she still helps me with any little issues that I might have. I felt comfortable dealing with Monique.
