I had nothing but problems which immediately came to light but were never handled. If you insist on dealing with them TAPE all conversations otherwise it is your word against theirs and YOU LOSE. I was frustrated with attempting to deal with them locally and wrote my concerns to Ford Canada! Lip service for sure ~ yes it is FORD products that they sell however independent dealers. Guess they don't care about their reputation either. I cannot say that the salesman lied to me however if it wasn't lie then he sure sold me a car without the bells and whistles I asked for and was told the car had. Also if you buy or bought from there and were told you HAD to purchase the Global NO, NO, NO you don't. I did get Ford Canada's verification on this and was reimbursed some. This is just one example of how trustworthy they are. Well since the car didn't meet what I was sold it cost me thousands of dollars! Now to Service ~ it seemed fine. I mean what can go wrong with an oil change? Then my iPhone would not always connect so back I go. They tried different things however only temporary fixes. I even brought it in when it was locked on out call, the timer ticking away however there was no out call. Hmmm the one technician that understood these things was off. Perhaps more should be trained ~ cell phones are not new. A decision was made to order a new part for the phone ~ they had never seen/heard this problem before! I also ordered touch up paint. Within weeks I had a call for the paint and indicated I would pop in when the sync part was in. Well, 18 months later and still waiting ~ never heard back from either Parts or Service. Customer Service at its' finest. I did get a call for my 6 month oil change and when I told the young lady (from Suburban) that I was thinking of going elsewhere as I had now waited 6 months for a part to come in and...in the end she said okay and terminated the call. Great Customer Service...thank you take your business elsewhere. I did some research and chose Island Ford in N. Duncan. I have now been there twice for my oil changes etc. and cannot rate them high enough. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted, everyone is happy, communicative, takes time to explain anything you ask and the car gets great service. BONUS, when you get your car back it has been vacuumed and washed! REALLY! amazing going the extra mile to say we appreciate your business, please come back. I would highly recommend a quick 45 minute - 1 hour drive to have your Ford services here. Make a day trip of it and visit one of Duncan's fabulous restaurants or do a mini wine tour they have so many excellent choices. ISLAND FORD is # 1 in my books and give them a try.
