Right on guys Bought an f150 from them around 2009 and I went to trade in back at their dealership a year later and they brought to my attention that the truck they Bought an f150 from them around 2009 and I went to trade in back at their dealership a year later and they brought to my attention that the truck they sold me a year earlier had a 7200$ accident on it that I wasn't told about when I bought it. .... Just recently I went in to look at a 2016 f150 and was offered 16,800 for my trade and was told by a sales manager we are the only dealership that will honour the trade price even if you don't buy a vehicle from us... turns out deal didn't go through because I am going to be building a new house so I thought hey these guys gave me a good number on our car I'll take them up on it. Upon returning to glenoak ford 2 months later the same sales manager told me my vehicles value suddenly dropped 3800$... right on that's pretty cool! I understand when they gave me a price of 16,800 I was looking at a 45000 truck but don't run your mouth saying we are the only dealer that will honour that number even if you don't buy and then B.S. your way out of it. Will never go back to that place and suggest others go elsewhere! More

Terrible customer service I was refused service at this location because a customer was rude to me and made a snide remark under her breath, as I was on my way out the door to I was refused service at this location because a customer was rude to me and made a snide remark under her breath, as I was on my way out the door to get my insurance papers from my truck, I was rude to her in turn. When I had come back in from grabbing my insurance documents from my truck the customer had complained about me to the sales rep and I was refused service! Completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone! More

I've always had great dealing with their service department as well. My only regret is that this will be my last purchase from Peter and they guys as I am leaving the Provence. I had nothing but problems which immediately came to light but were never handled. If you insist on dealing with them TAPE all conversations otherwise it is your word against theirs and YOU LOSE. I was frustrated with attempting to deal with them locally and wrote my concerns to Ford Canada! Lip service for sure ~ yes it is FORD products that they sell however independent dealers. Guess they don't care about their reputation either. I cannot say that the salesman lied to me however if it wasn't lie then he sure sold me a car without the bells and whistles I asked for and was told the car had. Also if you buy or bought from there and were told you HAD to purchase the Global NO, NO, NO you don't. I did get Ford Canada's verification on this and was reimbursed some. This is just one example of how trustworthy they are. Well since the car didn't meet what I was sold it cost me thousands of dollars! Now to Service ~ it seemed fine. I mean what can go wrong with an oil change? Then my iPhone would not always connect so back I go. They tried different things however only temporary fixes. I even brought it in when it was locked on out call, the timer ticking away however there was no out call. Hmmm the one technician that understood these things was off. Perhaps more should be trained ~ cell phones are not new. A decision was made to order a new part for the phone ~ they had never seen/heard this problem before! I also ordered touch up paint. Within weeks I had a call for the paint and indicated I would pop in when the sync part was in. Well, 18 months later and still waiting ~ never heard back from either Parts or Service. Customer Service at its' finest. I did get a call for my 6 month oil change and when I told the young lady (from Suburban) that I was thinking of going elsewhere as I had now waited 6 months for a part to come in and...in the end she said okay and terminated the call. Great Customer Service...thank you take your business elsewhere. I did some research and chose Island Ford in N. Duncan. I have now been there twice for my oil changes etc. and cannot rate them high enough. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted, everyone is happy, communicative, takes time to explain anything you ask and the car gets great service. BONUS, when you get your car back it has been vacuumed and washed! REALLY! amazing going the extra mile to say we appreciate your business, please come back. I would highly recommend a quick 45 minute - 1 hour drive to have your Ford services here. Make a day trip of it and visit one of Duncan's fabulous restaurants or do a mini wine tour they have so many excellent choices. ISLAND FORD is # 1 in my books and give them a try.
