Mike is the an amazing manager and really went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. He also updated me throughout the process up until the car was ready for delivery. A couple of months ago. I had a serious problem with my Sonic. The check engine light wouldn't turn off. For error code PO11. I took the car to this dealership many times to I had a serious problem with my Sonic. The check engine light wouldn't turn off. For error code PO11. I took the car to this dealership many times to get it fixed. After the first time. They said if this problem comes back we will fix for free from 2 years. Well the problem came back same error code. But claimed it was a different part that broke. So they fixed it again and did lots of other adjustments to "prevent" the code from coming back on again. With in 2 days the problem came back. Same code. And they still said they had to charge me to find the problem and fix it... But they didn't even fix it the first time. They have no honor in there practice when they say. Free parts and labor on anything we did. Cuz what they did, didn't work. On top of this. They said maybe my car can't be saved look into buying another car. Or replace the whole engine. We don't know what's wrong. I can't afford to be spending over $15k in parts labor and new engine/ car that is 5 years old with 70,000km on it. So I took it to a different place. And they didn't charge me at all to find the problem. And sure enough what they discovered was that during the tuning process of my engine timing. They damaged a key part that runs the ignition timing. With photos to show them and my other mechanic saying they MUST have touched and damaged this part, during the other repairs they did to my car. And so with out a doubt knew exactly what the problem was. But didn't want me to find out or to fix it. As it would be out of pocket for them. They denied admitting it was there doing. And refused to fix my car. And for that matter when trying to order this part through the dealership. The request was cancelled every time and so no. After paying $4000 to Gateway. Still have this error code. I will never go this place again! Nor deal with a Chevy either! More
Was told my 2022 canyon would be delivered in 6 weeks. (1st xxxxxxxx) After 6 weeks I was told that the truck was in broadcast by the sales manager Mike. (2nd xxxxxxxx) I asked him what that meant and (1st xxxxxxxx) After 6 weeks I was told that the truck was in broadcast by the sales manager Mike. (2nd xxxxxxxx) I asked him what that meant and he said it's ready for transport and to wait another week. The following week I called to find out where my truck is and he told me that it's in broadcast, I asked him what it means and he told me that it's still being assembled. (3rd xxxxxxxx) How can the sales manager use that terminology daily and get it wrong twice? Speaking with the financial guy at the dealership he told me that I have to negotiate the price with GM. GM tells me that I have to negotiate with the dealership. (4th xxxxxxxx) I pulled my refundable deposit today because I am tired of their lies and I don't need the truck anymore, Even though the truck will be at the dealership February 8th. More
