Disappointed !! I bought a Nissan Versa 2009 from them and had the worst experience ever. The very next month I have to bring the car back to their service since ther I bought a Nissan Versa 2009 from them and had the worst experience ever. The very next month I have to bring the car back to their service since there was a grilling noise from under the vehicle. They checked it and said they could not identify anything and billed 80 dollars for that. One month down the road the battery died and had to bring the car in and they asked me to pay 200 dollars to replace the battery to which I said no since it was only 2 months since I bought the vehicle. I spoke to their pre-owned Sales Manager and he replaced the battery for no charges. 4 months down the road the grilling noise was so evident that I need to go and consult with a private mechanic to identify the reasons. They clearly said the muffler is broken and so the noise is. I went back to the dealership since the problem was identified. The Pre owned Sales manager said he would definitely fix it for me. He asked me to bring the vehicle in so that they can inspect the vehicle. I brought it in. (Now) They identified the muffler is broken. They asked me to bring the car in the very next week to get it fixed. They kept my car with them for 2 days since they said the work is not done yet. When I went in to collect my car, they said they tried to weld it with no luck and they will now replace the exhaust for me for free. And asked me to bring the car back in a few days. I brought it back. Since they knew I was going out of town, they said my car will be secure with them for 2 weeks. I came back from my vacation, went back to them and collected my car (supposedly) fixed. The very next day I was driving to work and could hear the grilling from underneath. I thought I should wait for a few days before going back to them. The noise sustained and finally I was forced to ask them the details of the work they have done on it to which there were no responses for 2 weeks. I tried to get in touch with them through emails and phone calls with no luck. I went back again to a private mechanic to get it checked since I needed a clarification on it. They said the muffler has been welded back together. I have to force myself in to this dealer since they were unwilling to meet with me. And they took the car in back to their service. Imagine, this is the timeline of 7 months events since I bought this vehicle from them. CUSTOMER SERVICE starts after not before. When they sell their cars they will be with their polished smiles since they are trying to meet their sales targets. Customer service can only be measured by how respectfully they treated or followed up with their customers after the sales. Moreover, I personally believe every profession has its own ethics and values and so do car sales. Do not promise a customer about something you are ‘not’ going to do. I don’t think people working here are stupid to think that they can easily fool a customer. Or else you should at least has to have that courtesy to deal with that in a professional way rather than not responding back (hiding away) to the customer and the customer has to force themselves in. The way they dealt with this matter was very unprofessional and it affects the integrity of your brand name that is “Nissan”. And that is what you represent on a day to day basis. Disappointed!!! Sales experience great, service experience abysmal The following is a letter that my daughter and I directed to the dealership after a far less than satisfactory experience getting her new car serviced The following is a letter that my daughter and I directed to the dealership after a far less than satisfactory experience getting her new car serviced. "I accompanied my daughter to have her brand new Nissan Micra serviced today. Since we had a very positive buying experience, it only made sense to us that we return to Fish Creek Nissan for the service. My daughter had a minor collision with a parking block which caused minimal damage to her car. From my daughter’s first dealings with service staff, the professionalism that we had first experienced was absent. When she arrived at the service counter, it took longer than necessary for her to be acknowledged. After pulling her car into the service bay, she was greeted by a warm service person named Dee. The two of them discussed the needed repairs and completed the necessary paperwork. My daughter asked if she could have her car back by 11:30. Dee stated that they would do their best. By 11:30 we had not heard from Dee, so we returned to the dealership. Dee immediately acknowledged my daughter by name and said that her car would be ready shortly. At 12:10, we were called up to the service desk to pay (we were standing on the right, standing in front of the red service desk to pay). The girl standing on the left, I believe her name to be Candace, had apparently just had a disagreement/argument with a customer. I did not witness this conversation. A minute or so later, the manager (his office is immediately behind the red service desk) stuck his head out of his office and publically berated Candace, speaking very loudly. I did not say anything at this point, only glared at the manager disapprovingly. Shortly thereafter, he called Candace to come into his office because he wanted to talk to her. She immediately went into his office where he once again berated her and told her that she should not be arguing with customers, all while the door was wide open. She apologized to him. While this was going on, I remarked to our service person (sorry, I don’t know her name; she had long brown hair and glasses) that I was horrified with the manager’s unprofessional business practices. I told her that I was very tempted to go and close his office door. This exchange was loud enough to be clearly heard by all customers in the waiting area. While I do believe that discipline is a necessary part of management, I feel that this manager is seriously lacking in tact, professionalism and ethics. To discipline an employee by publicly humiliating her twice is completely unprofessional and reprehensible behaviour. He should take responsibility for his uncouth behaviour. As our service girl was apologizing to me for the loud and disruptive situation, she did not go through the details of the repair invoice and just told us the total amount due. My daughter asked if she could read the details and then paid. I remarked again about how upset I was with the manager’s actions and we then left. My daughter did a quick assessment of her vehicle before we drove away and noticed that not all aspects of the repair had been completed as requested when the service was initially booked. The details of the repair had also been reiterated to Dee upon our arrival in the service department. As the service took much longer than anticipated, my daughter was already very late for work and we did not have the time to bring this to their attention at that time. In summary: • A very simple repair took three hours and was not fully completed • We witnessed unprofessional behaviour by two employees in the service department • We will not be returning and will be taking our service business elsewhere In these days of competition for the consumer’s hard earned dollar, it is stellar service that will make your business head and shoulders above the competition. Sadly, this is NOT what we witnessed today. You failed on all fronts. The only bright light in this entire experience was Dee. She should be commended for her professionalism, efficiency and courtesy. We had an incredible experience with the sales side of the dealership, but the actual service of the vehicle in addition to the service provided by the personnel is severely lacking at this dealership. Sadly disappointed, Fish Creek Nissan Customers More
