The service itself and the work done was excellent. My one comment would be that despite having made an appointment, I had to wait an exceptionally long time. Will be back in the Fall to pick up my winter tires, but never again will I be back for service. I’ve now had 3 horrible service appointments in a row. Prior to that I had a wonderful experience and was a never again will I be back for service. I’ve now had 3 horrible service appointments in a row. Prior to that I had a wonderful experience and was a loyal customer with 2 Nissan vehicles. For this last service, I booked an appointment to change my winter tires to summer tires, change the oil and replace the front wiper blades. I dropped it off at 8:30 as planned. At 2:00 I called and asked if I could pick it up at 4:00 that day and the service representative said that they were just finishing up so it wouldn’t be a problem. I explained that I needed to get my daughter to work that afternoon. I asked if 4;00 would be reasonable and I was assured it would be fine. I walked over to the dealership to save you having to pay for an uber for me and I arrived at 4:10. There was a line up so I waited till 4:15 at which time I was told that they were just finishing up and it would be another 15-20 minutes. I agreed to wait knowing that I’d be rushing once I got out of there to get my daughter to work on time. At 4:30 I went to see if it was done and again I was told that they were just finishing. “It’s still up on the hoists and once they bring it down they just need to put in the oil. It’s already washed so we won’t need to wait for that. Should only be a moment.” I asked if I could pay while I was waiting but that couldn’t be done as the mechanic needs to send in the computer information before payment can be made. So the service representative said that went to ask if the mechanic could enter the computer information before the oil was out in. When he returned he said his hands were dirty from changing the wiper blades! In the meantime my daughter was going to be late for work now. Service man offered to get my daughter an Uber from my house to her place of employment but at 15 years old I’m not comfortable having a stranger drive her. So I suggested he get me an uber to take me home, pick her up and drive her to work and then bring me back to get the car. He didn’t like the idea and told me the car should be done shortly. I left the dealership at 4:46pm and managed to call a neighbour to get help in an emergency situation. My daughter made it to work on time and safely thankfully! I made it home shortly after her start time. When I called at 2:00 I should have been told the truth…. Your car has not been started yet. I’m not sure we can get it done by 4:00. Then I could have made alternate arrangements for my daughter in advance. When I arrived at 4:15 the car should have been ready. To tell me it was almost done when it still tires installed, needed oil and wiper blades was a complete lie. In the end, I did not appreciate the lack of honesty. In service you promise longer and deliver quicker to ensure customer service. In this case they said they could do something when they couldn’t and lied about it. No compensation or offer such as free wiper blades to the customer either for the seevice error to maintain a good relationship. Poor customer service! This of course occurred after my husbands encounter earlier that day with our second vehicle. It was booked to have the shocks repaired only to to arrive and find that the parts were on back order for the next 4-6 weeks. Why would your service sept book this apt if they don’t even have the part in stock??? My husband said he’d come back another day but oh… they couldn’t find his car now…. Then they brought him the wrong car keys…. No offer for compensation. He was late for his apt with the mayor after having to deal with your service department so I’ll let him leave you his own survey. I gave 1 star on the last page, I didn’t have the option of zero stars or I would have selected that. I do hope you get your service back on track in the future. I will be telling my friends of my experiences and how nothing was done to rectify the situations. More
