We purchased a used Mazda from Ali on the used car side of the dealership. So far the car is fine, but that’s been the only good part of the whole process. We were promised a much lower interest rate than we received and we were actively lied to about the terms of our loan. We were told that the loan is closed for 7 months until it’s open and we’d be able to pay it off. This is not true but they tell you this to receive payment from the lender which they won’t tell you about in order protect their leverage. There’s a world where these salesman could approach sales in a manner that both parties could benefit and leave happy, something as simple as calculating the exact amount to leave on the loan and offering 2-3x the interest payments probably would have satisfied us. Unfortunately you won’t find that experience here. Unless you’re prepared for these tricks I’d shop elsewhere. More
