She quite liked the Mazda CX-5 and the sales person she dealt with was kind and friendly as she signed on the dotted line. Her car was purchased on a Saturday, March 28, and the dealership said it would be ready for the upcoming Monday. Cue the end of the honeymoon phase. On Monday, when we were supposed to pick the car up with my mother, we called in advanced to see if it was ready. No one had called us to let us know if it would or wouldn't be ready or even to let us know status on the car. Strike one. It was a good thing we did because it was only when we called did we find out that the car was actually given to another customer. What? Yes, sold to someone else. We were told that it would take no time to have the car ready for her since we were purchasing a floor model. But this wasn't the case because it was given to someone else. Strike 2. They said it would take some time to receive the car because they would need to have it shipped from elsewhere. Fine. Days pass and no communication. We thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt that someone would call and update us because it was the right thing to do, but nothing. We finally call the dealership and they say the car has been delayed because of "the weather." We were surprised to see that another customer received a similar excuse (see review below). Seems like the thing to say when customers are upset. Strike 3. We were frustrated, but it did not end there. They said it would take 3 to 5 days and Harris would personally take care of readying the car. 5 days pass, no communication. We call and they say it is arriving that very evening and it will be ready to be picked up. Shortly after, Harris calls back and says, nope sorry it won't be ready until the following Tuesday, 4 business days after they said it would be arriving. Strike 4, 5 and 6? We asked if anything could be done as a response to their poor service and they say, "we can't promise anything." This should be the slogan of Erin Mills Mazda because they have not lived up to any of their promises so far. They take your money ($2000 down) and you fall into a cue of waiting and not knowing when things will come to fruition. Three weeks later – my mother doesn’t have her car. To summarize, our experience during the selling process was good and it was nice because they want your commitment and your cash. Once they have your contract, don't expect much or anything at all. Customer service falls through the cracks at that point and the onus is on you, the customer, to make sure you get your car in a timely manner. At two other Mazda dealerships from which our first two Mazda's were purchased, we were handled with care and treated with respect. This will be our third Mazda and it was extremely disappointing as a loyal Mazda customer. Handle your business with Mazda with another dealer. More
We already purchased a brand new 2012 Mazda 3 GS Sky in February, 2013. This was with Direct Mazda and the service was excellent. We received the car within ten days. We wanted to get another Mazda, this t February, 2013. This was with Direct Mazda and the service was excellent. We received the car within ten days. We wanted to get another Mazda, this time a 2013 Mazda 3 GS Sky. Unfortunately Direct Mazda is now Direct Nissan and the service isn't the same. This brought us to Erin Mills Mazda. At first we were very impressed with Erin Mills Mazda, during the sales process. We had a good experience with the sales team as well as the manager, Haris. We felt very taken care of and received a good price. Haris requested us to write a good review online about their dealership and I was planning to but decided to wait until we received the car. I'm glad I waited to write the review, because once the sale was completed and we signed the contract, the service has been absolutely horrible. We purchased our car on Dec 18th, 2013, and we were the last ones in the dealership. I had to put a $500.00 hold on my credit card until we picked up the car. I didn’t mind doing this at the time, because when dealing with Direct Mazda I had my money back in ten days. We were told at the point of sale that it would take approximately two weeks to receive our car. This is standard, and we were able to handle having one car until that time. A little over two weeks later with no phone call, we called Erin Mills Mazda and kept being advised that someone would call us back. No one would call us back, so we had to keep calling to check on the status of the car. Finally we were able to speak with someone, only to be told it would take two more weeks! They blamed it on weather but it seems to me that they forgot to order it. If they knew there would be a delay, they should have called us to let us know rather than having us sit around wondering when our car is coming, and not getting our phone calls returned. We requested them to provide us with a car to use as my fiance had no car to get to work while we were waiting this long. They did provide us with a car to use, but here we are on January 17th still without the car we purchased, being limited to a certain amount of KM/week with the rental car, and the $500.00 hold STLL on my credit card. My credit card payment is now overdue and I am accruing interest. Last week we followed up on the status, and were advised it is due to come in on Jan 13th. On Jan 16th we called them again and they advised they still don't have the car but it is due to come that day. Now it is the next day, still no call. Tomorrow will be one month since we purchased the car. It is absolutely ridiculous. We are loyal Mazda customers and have several friends who are looking into becoming Mazda owners as well. After the sale on Dec 18th I was so impressed and raving to all of our friends and family about how great Erin Mills Mazda was. If I knew it would take at least a month for our car to arrive I would have gone elsewhere. I also would have gone elsewhere if I knew how poor their service would be after they have taken our money and the contract was signed. This is not a small amount of money and the lack of professionalism is shocking. Customer service should extend beyond the sale, but I truly feel that Erin Mills Mazda does not care about their customers. We have been given the runaround, and no one calls us to follow up or update us. I have lost all trust and faith in this dealership and it would take a lot for me ever to return in the future. Please avoid this dealership and get the service you deserve elsewhere. More
The sales people at this dealership are condescending xxxxxxxx! My family and I had to sit there for 15 minutes while the sales person AND manager yelled at us about how bad the other cars we were consid xxxxxxxx! My family and I had to sit there for 15 minutes while the sales person AND manager yelled at us about how bad the other cars we were considering are. All we wanted was general prices for purchasing the vehicle and financing options (which we never got), as we were early in our car search. They are aggressive and sexist! During the test drive I was yelled at me constantly from the back seat, I ended the test early because of how unpleasant the experience was. I went into the Mazda knowing what I wanted (they were the top of my list in fact), but after my experience I was totally put off and never wanted to enter a Mazda dealership again. More
We had our 2007 Mazda 5 (5 YO) serviced in this dealership. My wife discussed the cost of the service in advance, but later supprised to find out that the cost provided earlier only includes smalle dealership. My wife discussed the cost of the service in advance, but later supprised to find out that the cost provided earlier only includes smaller scope of work. We were quoted engine oil service, coolant and transmission fluidl for $350 + Tax which makes sense. But later we found out that the $350 is only for oild and coolant. And not only that, when my wife called to change the type of service, she was told, "it is done". Not only the pricing is ambiguous, the price is ridiculous high even for dealer standard. And we had been going to dealership for the services.. I would not recommend this place for service if you have a not-newer car like us. More
I just got my Mazda CX-5 from this dealership, I had a great time there, since the time of the test drive till the closing minute. I chose this car because it is the very economic and comfortable. Also th great time there, since the time of the test drive till the closing minute. I chose this car because it is the very economic and comfortable. Also the price was attractive and it was a pleasure made deal with Paiman, he is very professional but also treated us as a friend. Thank you to the receptionist that gave attention and cute toys to my daughter while we are busy closing our deal. I high recommend this dealership ! More

I was dumb enough to tell them that the car I was buying was my first car. As a result I've got a "certified" vehicle that wasn't even inspected by their technician. It had a hole in it's coolant tank. And was my first car. As a result I've got a "certified" vehicle that wasn't even inspected by their technician. It had a hole in it's coolant tank. And I drove with no coolant in the tank (apparently there was some in the radiator) for a couple of hundreds kilometres. Lucky for me my friend found the issue and told me about it... The tank was replaced after the first call. More
