Even when I was the one buying the car, the salesman often would talk to my husband and mostly ignore me, I have even walked away without buying when I felt too patronized and invisible. My experience at Eastside was so different. The people we dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and made this a very positive experience by talking to both of us, by creating such a warm environment. We would highly recommend this dealer and specifically Sonny, Erin, Louie and Linda. More
Dishonest, will take advantage of anyone Went here to purchase a used car. Was ensured the warranty I purchased was Bumper to bumper all inclusive. First issue: when we initially went to test drive the vehicle, the battery was dead. Salesman ensured me that the battery would be checked before final sale. Second issue: a few weeks after purchasing this vehicle, noticed it was profusely leaking oil. Took the car in to be repaired, and had to fight with them over an hour for them to agree to fix the leak. Which was inspected by a private mechanic before hand, and determined to have exsisted before I purchased it. Meaning it was not properly inspected at the dealership before purchase. After waiting 3 hours for the leak to be repaired, I tried to start my vehicle to drive out of the service bay, and it would not start. Battery was completely dead. This indicates the battery was not tested at the previous date, or during the inspection. Lastly , recently got the oil changed at Kia City and there was another oil leak (according to the mechanic at Kia city, was apparent before , and not appropriately fixed) When I asked east side to fix this once again, they refused. Stating it was not their problem. Do not purchase a used vehicle from this location. If you do I highly recommend getting a private vehicle inspection done before hand, and make sure they give you a paper copy of your warranty before you sign anything. A paper copy of the exact terms of my warranty was not provided to me upon signing. Very crooked sales people. True used car salesman stereotype. More

That said, I made the mistake of not getting the yellow copy of the purchase contract when I signed it and after they had taken a $2500 deposit from me the salesman returned to tell me that the sales manager had removed half of the standard dealer additions (that come with every vehicle they sell) since they had given me such a good price. That was done AFTER I had signed the deal and they had my money. That is dishonest at best, a couple of other words come to mind but I will reserve those for friends and family that ask me about my new Kia and I tell them to use a different dealer. More
Just seemed they wanted extract every buck they could I went to the dealership to purchase a new vehicle, and went with a new Optima due to a sale. When it came time to negotiate price, the salesman started by negotiating in terms of monthly payment only, ignoring the sale price and instead opening with a payment that was around twice that of the advertised sale. He aggressively pushed a VAP package which was full of of things that I didn't need like nitrogen filled tires and wheel lock nuts, even going so far as to state that "We basically don't sell vehicles without VAP." Once price was settled the finance guy pushed hard on other extras like payment protection insurance that would nearly double the payments on the vehicle. He kept pushing until I told him that, look, I'm just not interested. It seemed that all they cared about was extracting every possible dollar they could out of me. Not recommended. More
Great experience with Spencer at eastside kia My girlfriend and I recently purchased a brand new Rio from Eastside Kia. This was our first time purchasing a new vehicle and were quite overwhelmed. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a brand new Rio from Eastside Kia. This was our first time purchasing a new vehicle and were quite overwhelmed. However the friendly staff, especially Spencer made us feel right at home and comfortable with making our first big purchase. Spencer and Ali walked us through every detail and helped us get everything we needed without any additional pressure to upgrade options or to a vehicle that was not right for us. Spencer was extremely organized and returned our emails almost instantly and really helped us make an informed decision. Overall we are very happy with our experience at eastside kia and Spencer. We will definitely be coming back when we decide to upgrade to two vehicles in the future! We love our new car! Thanks! Kory and Katie More

Sheldon Mcmahon, is an excellent sales rep. w After visiting a few dealers in the city looking for a pre-owned car I was so glad I found Eastside Kia. Sheldon Mcmahon, is an excellent sales rep. who really cares about you as a customer. I think he is one of the few sales reps you can actually trust to in the car industry. By far, my best experience buying a pre-owned car. I picked up my Honda CRV last night and I can not be more happy! Thank you Sheldon! Patricia More
