They both went beyond the call of duty to make sure I could get the vehicle I wanted and the sell price which was ending in couple days of my purchase and my moving out of Toronto. They kept their promises about the extra part that I requested at the time of the purchase (my remote start). I am so grateful for that. I felt all involved treated me with respect and kindness and worked things out that even though I never qualified for the lease they worked it out so I was able to finance it. Thank you for that. It truly happened so fast. I talked to my eldest son that day that I really needed a new vehicle. I was thinking about it for awhile but never really talked about it. My son encouraged me to purchase a van like his as he is extremely happy with his. I looked it up on internet to see about trading in my jeep. I ended up at your dealership and within a couple of hours I was signing the papers. I brought my vehicle here for service on two occasions. 1st Experience: I brought the vehicle in complaining of an exhaust smell in the cabin and a "siren" type noise from the engine when accelerating. They checked the vehicle and said that the noise and smell were "normal operating characteristics of a diesel vehicle". I took the jeep to another dealership who immediately found a crack in the turbocharger that was leaking exhaust fumes near the cabin air intake. 2nd Experience: I brought the vehicle in because of a visible oil leak from a part on the engine. They confirmed that the part was faulty. They kept the vehicle for 3 days to order the part and complete the repair. I picked up the Jeep and was shown the work order which stated a new part had been ordered and replaced. I took a look once I got home and noticed that the same leaking part was still in the vehicle. I took it back to the dealership and showed the shop foreman who still insisted that the part had been replaced. He claimed that the oil I was seeing now was from the technicians gloves when the made the repair. I called Chrysler Canada and they told me to ask the dealership to show me the old part as proof (since all broken parts have to be shipped back to chrysler). About 15 min later the shop foreman sent out one of the junior techs who told me they had lied and HADN'T ACTUALLY REPLACED THE PART!!. Rick the service manager & DON the shop foreman will lie to your face with a smile. Avoid this dealership (and the Chrysler brand) if you can. Let my experiences be your lesson! More
