I had a flat tire saturday night, and installed the spare tire. Canadian Tire or Daks could not repair the lateral puncture. At 9:00 am, the attendant asked me to come in to check the tire before ordering a tire, which he did. He graciously offered a Uber while the new tire was ordered and delivered. I was happy to pick up my car at 3:00Pm that same day. The price was comparable to the competition and the attendant looked after all my needs. Happy camper, even if it took close to two days to install a new tire. More

However, the time it took to have the recall work done from the first time I contacted them was almost 5 weeks. Meanwhile, I had a recall done on another vehicle at another Kanata dealership within 3 days. The first issue is it takes 2+ weeks to get an appointment. At my first appointment, I waited outside the drive-thru check-in for over 15 minutes to get checked in. There were two cars sitting in the drive-thru lane. They had already been processed and the customers were gone, but for whatever reason, they weren't moved out of check-in. The second issue is that, even though two weeks had passed between the time I made the appointment and the appointment date, I showed up and was told that, based on my VIN#, a replacement part was needed to perform the recall, but the part was not in stock. When I asked why my part wasn't ordered based on my VIN# when I made the appointment, he told me that someone forgot to order the part. It took another week for them to get the part in stock and then another two weeks to give me another appointment. To summarize, it took 12 times longer to complete this recall as it did to complete a recall on my other car. Also, Donnelly Kia wasted 2 hours of my time on the useless first visit. More
