I visited Donnelly Ford this morning, hoping to resolve a Ford recall notice I received. I've been a loyal customer for years, having purchased both a 2005 Mustang GT Convertible and a 2021 Escape from them, Ford recall notice I received. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I had previously taken my car into them for recalls in March. They managed to address some issues and mentioned that others were still pending. At that time, they provided me with a rental car for the day, which was much appreciated, especially given my reliance on my vehicle for work as a real estate agent. This morning’s visit was to address one of the pending recalls. Unfortunately, from the moment I interacted with the service representative, I felt disrespected and talked down to. This was surprising and upsetting, mainly because I had never experienced such treatment from them before. I also mentioned a vibration in the front end of my vehicle—an issue that had been fixed early in my ownership. I was told that new fluid had been added to the differential, but the service representative informed me that only a part had been replaced. Later, he suggested that perhaps the fluid needed changing due to the new part. When I inquired about coverage under my expensive extended warranty, I was told I might or might not be covered. If covered, the cost would be fully covered; if not, I would be responsible for the inspection and repair costs. The way this information was conveyed made me feel like I was just another annoying customer rather than a valued client. This visit has, unfortunately, changed my perception of Donnelly Ford. I’ve always recommended them and spoke highly of their dealership, but being treated with such disregard is disheartening. I hope they will address these issues and ensure all customers receive the respect and professionalism they deserve. More
Bought a vw beetle. They didn’t disclose the extent of an accident. The car had been smoked in they wouldn’t disclose. I asked them to fix a small hole in the front hood and they gave me a tube of touch up paint, now about 2 inches of rust. Lights around speaker not working due to accident repair on door. I started this dialog 3 years ago with them and the refuse to do any repairs. I have never delt with a dealer that had such poor customer service and sales. Never st Donnellys ever. Wife’s car. I should have known better than to buy something that looked like a scam. More
Extremely unhappy with service. I received 3 emails and 2 texts reminding me not to forget my Appt. Drove 45 mins to Donnelly, dropped car at 8am. 3pm receive call saying won't get I received 3 emails and 2 texts reminding me not to forget my Appt. Drove 45 mins to Donnelly, dropped car at 8am. 3pm receive call saying won't get to your vehicle today, can you leave it. I said, no its my only vehicle. Oh well ok, you can come get it and reschedule. Uh what? Complete indifference to customer. Cost me $40 in Uber. And they had the nerve to ask me when I'd like to bring it back. Never obviously. Service Department Experiences Unfortunately, the bad out weigh the good. The Good: Very knowledgeable front office service staff who quickly follow up with client. I was kept fully informed of every step of my truck maintenance. The Bad: 1. Scheduling: Outrageous wait times with unreliability to commit to apt. in the end. I had to wait 5 weeks for semi urgent apt. Donnelly Ford cancelled my apt one day prior and offered a new apt 3 weeks later; total wait 8 weeks for semi urgent issue. Ultimately, apt was cancelled. You are far better off scheduling an apt elsewhere. 2. Honouring Ford Service Contract: My Ford service contract includes vehicle replacement for repairs. Truck was in service for 1 week. When asked for replacement vehicle according to my service contract; reply was none available (despite waiting 5 weeks). There was no apology for not honouring Ford contract and there was no effort to subsequently attempt to find replacement. In other words, they simply ignored the vehicle replacement option that I purchased in the Ford service contract. Very disappointing. Overall, great front office service staff in communications unfortunately, the rest of the service department needs a significant overhaul. Go somewhere else. More

I was very happy with the service I received there. The staff were all very friendly and courteous, especially the Receptionist (Amy) and Megan who is in charge of booking appointments. I was so impressed with the staff at Donnelli that when I decided to get rid of my truck, I sold it to Donnelli Ford, as I no longer needed the truck. During the sale, I dealt with Grant Schubert (the salesperson), and his supervisor Eli. The transaction was simple and straight forward. It was completed as we agreed upon. I want to thank Grant, Eli, Amy, Megan and the rest of the Donnelli Ford team for being very professional during the whole time that I was going to Donnelli Ford. I also must mention that the Dealership was spark clean every time I went there. I would definitely recommend Donnelli Ford to anyone who wants to buy or sale a vehicle. I purchased a vehicle from out of province and travelled to pick it up. No issues with John Puddicombe in their Sales department for a smooth, professional, friendly and fair buying transaction, but other than that, in my experience, their Service department completely sucks an for a smooth, professional, friendly and fair buying transaction, but other than that, in my experience, their Service department completely sucks and am now using another Ford Lincoln dealership closer to home for all the service needs on my Lincoln, but I would buy my next Lincoln from Donnelly's. Five stars for sales, NO stars for service department. More
The only word I can find to rate the service I received from Husni Haiaf and Kathleen McGuire is "FANTASTIC". They made the process so easy and made me feel like a somebody. Even though my credit was far from good, they listened to what I wanted and did more than provide. From the moment I applied they made me think that is was more then possible to get a vehicle for my family. And sure enough in less then a week they delivered. Not only did they have a through check done on my care, they had it detailed, and delivered the vehicle to my driveway from Ottawa to Hamilton. No extra charges for any of this. And Husni was more than patient with me while I took my time to think over this purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that has lost hope of getting the vehicle of their dreams. Kathleen took the time to make sure that I understood everything with the paperwork and delivery. I can't thank them enough for all they have done. And I will definatley be going back to them in the future when the time is right to upgrade my car. I would and have recommend them to everyone that is in a rough spot and in need of a vehicle to look them up. You won't be disappointed. Sue Hachey More
