Genesis G80 I purchased a 2020 Genesis G80 from Trisha at Don Valley North Hyundai. The purchase process went well as Trisha was very personable and fair. The problems started when the engine light went on after just a few months. The problem was not that the car had an issue. The problem was with the service department. If you go to the Genesis website you get the impression that any service call will be a fantastic experience. They promise to bring you a rental car and supply you with “concierge” service. Nothing could be further from the truth. When you call for an appointment, if you are lucky enough to get someone to answer, the receptionist will tell you that everyone is busy and she will get them to call you back. That call NEVER comes. It took many calls before I could get an appointment and then I had to argue with the service person to get a loaner car. They did manage to get the engine light to turn off but a month later it was on again. Again I had to repeat the experience of trying to get someone to return my call. It took THREE DAYS for me to get someone on the phone to give me an appointment. When I finally got to bring my car in he told me I would get it back next week. That, of course, didn’t happen. The story now is that he’s waiting for a part. The part is coming from Korea and I won’t have my car for at least 3 more weeks. To be fair, he did give me a loaner and it is a brand new G70 so I certainly can’t complain about that. My main criticism is that when you call the service department, they absolutely don’t respond. I was told that the reason this happens is because they are “very busy”. Well, if you can’t take care of your customers, hire enough staff so that you can. Don’t promise me “concierge service” and then ignore my phone calls. Hopefully whoever is in charge of the service department will read this and take the criticism to heart. You cannot ignore your customers and expect them to give you repeat business. Don’t promise a high level of service and then deliver the exact opposite. More

Worst Experience I am Jeffin! I would like to describe my worst experience with Don valley north Hyudai. I booked a used car from here before a month but my credit doe I am Jeffin! I would like to describe my worst experience with Don valley north Hyudai. I booked a used car from here before a month but my credit doesn’t got approved even though I have a full time Analyst job. They claim that I need a Canadian Citizen as cosigner, which I wont be able to provide. Then after 3 weeks of my application the salesman Jonathan Park asked me to apply for a new car and I applied for it. But still I didn’t get any positive update on my application. Also last year when my friend took a car from here with me as the cosigner Jonathan assured me that I will be able to get a car from them with my friend itself as the cosigner. But now they are in a behaviour that it is not a matter of concern for them. Also I provided 3 other cosigners who are in a PGWP. Moreover, from the last 2 weeks I am asking my refund of the downpayment, but they are forcing me to wait. Also, they have done 6 credit checks with my credit application. I’m worried about the way how it is going to affect me.By the mean time Even I don’t got any calls from them regarding my status of application and every day I am contacting them. Is this they way to deal with a customer? In addition, I got approval from a different dealer with this same credit with an hour. So, from my personal experience don’t even think about Don valley North Hyundai if you don’t have a good credit because they dont have any good finance managers. More

Do not get body work done here The service department is ok. But there is no option to select the collision and body department. DO NOT get your body work from the dealer. I had to have my entire front bumper replaced (per THEIR assessment), I paid $2k to purchase the front bumper and related pieces and to have it installed. Without going into too much detail, they did not replace a part that was clearly damaged and just put it back onto the car. More
