Time Consumming and miscommuication I needed to replace my car's fob. I made an appointment to do so yet after 2 hours in the service department, I received a key rather than a fob. I e I needed to replace my car's fob. I made an appointment to do so yet after 2 hours in the service department, I received a key rather than a fob. I explained once again that I needed the fob instead, and that they had made a mistake was told to try the key. I couldn't wait longer for the fob to be made so I paid and left. I made a second appointment two weeks later and negotiated a price for the fob. Another 1.5 hours. After going home my wife's old fob no longer opened the car. A had to book a 3rd appointment to synchronize her fob too. That took another hour but at least was free of charge. Mazda was willing to remedy the situation but I do not live close to the dealership so every trip was time out of my workday. The main problem was with the initial appointment where the need for the second fob wasn't conveyed and the service centre not following instructions. In the end, the work was done to my satisfaction. More

Service department staff dishonest Caption says it all. I asked the service advisor if it was possible to get a parts or labour discount because my repairs were more than $500. I was to Caption says it all. I asked the service advisor if it was possible to get a parts or labour discount because my repairs were more than $500. I was told no. When I went to pick up my car a few hours later, I bumped into the parts guy. I asked him if it is normal policy not to give parts or service discounts. He said, "absolutely not". I told him that I asked earlier and I was told a bold no. He then rolled his eyes and said that's not true. I asked if he could do anything for me. He said unfortunately not, it's up to the service advisor. He suggested in the future to see him (Parts department) first and buy the parts at a discount and then have Mazda install it. I was not impressed on some of the sales tactics they use on their customers when people are looking for buying cars,. Additionally, it may be a coincidence, but moments driving off the lot, my CEL went on. The next day I took my car to another Mazda dealer. I don't recommend these guys. More
Worst customer service I have never dealt with an unprofessional before in my life time of buying cars. But this recent visit to this place just put me in such a bad mood. I have never dealt with an unprofessional before in my life time of buying cars. But this recent visit to this place just put me in such a bad mood. Nash is the worst person to deal with, I warn everyone to not go there if you will be dealing with him. The way he treats an asian is just atrocious. To come to Canada which I thought is a multicultural place then meeting Nash was a shock. I will never want to buy from this place because of him and I do not recommend this place to anyone. More

LIARS AND CROOKS - HORRIBLE TO WOMEN Going to this dealership's repair shop was the WORST decision of my life - if you love your car, run the other way!!!!!! I've owned my Mazdaspeed pro Going to this dealership's repair shop was the WORST decision of my life - if you love your car, run the other way!!!!!! I've owned my Mazdaspeed protege for 9 years and it has been the BEST car - I had a check engine light come on for only 6 hours saying I had a lean engine and then went off and the car was totally fine but I decided to bring it into the dealership to diagnose anyways just to be proactive since I love my car. I was told a fuel pressure solenoid would fix it, spent $300 for the repair, and as I was driving home my check engine light came on (lean engine). I called the dealership back to advise them that my car had not been fixed, they said whoops we never actually looked , let us try again. Then I was told a $540 wastegate actuator would fix the car (they misquoted and it later became $640) and they had to order the part so I could come pick the car up in the meantime. As soon as I got in my car, there was a very foul smell and then turning onto the highway around the corner from the dealership, I pressed on my gas pedal only to have the car not accelerate! Then I came to a stop and the car died, I turned right around and the car died 10 more times on the way back to Destination Mazda. Each time it died. the check engine, battery, and oil lights all came on and I thought that's weird, I recently had an oil change so as soon as I got into their lot I popped the hood and checked my dipstick and THERE WAS NO OIL IN MY CAR - THEY COULD HAVE SEIZED MY ENGINE!!!! The mechanics can't tell me where the oil went or why the car was breaking down next thing I know I'm being told my car is undrivable, a vacuum hose and another solenoid broke during their abusive "diagnostics" and they're saying my turbo broke but they will try to fix it. I kept questioning what happened to my car? They could not provide me with any real diagnostic test results (besides basic scanner codes) and claim that it's a "co-incidence" all this broke under their care. At this point I started calling Mazda Canada Head Office begging for their help (it has now been 6 weeks and I am still waiting for them do anything). Destination Mazda claims they fixed my car but if it ever does that again I will need a new turbo. So they give me back my keys and a block away I’m driving and notice my car has no boost. There was no way in xxxx I was going back to that location so I kept going with plans to search for another mechanic. 3 hours of driving later, my car loses acceleration and BREAKS DOWN AGAIN! I had to call a tow truck ($112), brought it to a different mechanic where they had to replace all the spark plugs, wire set, and ignition coils just to get it running again ($900) but the car still has no boost. I am now being told that my car is fixed but it’s going to be another $1,500 bill and Mazda has taken zero responsibility for their gross negligence. When I talked to their manager Oswald, he says to me: How would it look for business if we told you the car was unsafe? To which I said: Actually, it’s your responsibility to tell people when their car is unsafe to drive. THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS DISGUSTING, I AM GOING TO FILE A LAWSUIT because it is absolutely unacceptable that my car took a beating, my travel plans have now been interrupted, and I am stuck with thousands of dollars in repair bills due to their screw up. David is a good guy I just bought a new Mazda CX5 and couldn't be happier. First of all, thank you to David Lee for his excellent customer service. David is a good guy to deal with--very professional, handled all of my questions with respect, and was helpful as opposed to pushy. I appreciated that he took the time to find out answers to my very detailed engine questions and spent time after the sale to ensure that I was familiar with all the features. The sales manager and finance manager were also pleasant and professional. More
