Dealt with Simon who is very slick and a fast talker. I'm a senior citizen on a pension and a 2013 Journey ended up costing me 58,000$. Never, Never buy a car from there. Absolute THIEVES. This is the second time we are buying a new car from this dealer. I had no problems with my first purchase, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, 7 years ago. Wife decided on the Dodge Journey RT and went to see our dealer. I had no problems with my first purchase, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, 7 years ago. Wife decided on the Dodge Journey RT and went to see our previous salesman Simon who was also calling her to do a trade-in for a new car and that he will give her a great price. I figured that since we had no problems with the first deal, she could go get the cars by herself. Once everything was settled, I'll go and sign the deal. Because, we had gotten a good deal on the first car, I didn't want to bargain on the price for this new car. I felt sorry that he didn't get alot for his commission on the Jeep. After signing everything, I realized that the price was rather high for the car. This is where my big mistake was made. I should have not trusted him. After checking on Dodge.ca for the retail price of the car plus the extras, he had inflated the price of the car by over $4000. That's right. FOUR THOUSAND dollars. I tried to ask him about this but could not get an honest answer from him. Spoke to the sales manage Patrick and got the same excuses. This is what they finally said after they told me that they will not waste any more time with me.I got a great price for my trade-in and the dealer had to get back the money by boosting the price of the car up. I was told from the service department that my car was worth $15000 because of the low mileage and the extended warranties I had. The dealer could fix any problems with the car and put it in the warranty so that they will save money. This is also the reason why we got the 7 year extended warranty. He said that this will increase the value of the car later when it is time for a trade-in. So, how did I get a great price? Your own service department told me the value of my car and you offered that price for the trade-in. Very sad to realize that sales people will take advantage of anyone. Even if you think you can trust them. More
I read some of the reviews and wanted to share my experience with this dealership, I have been dealing with them for the past 20 years and never had a bad experience, actually they always went out of experience with this dealership, I have been dealing with them for the past 20 years and never had a bad experience, actually they always went out of their way to accommodate me. People always write negative comments but never take the time to write positive ones... The Best!!! More
My aunt who is a senior went in for an oil change and came out with a bill for over $800. She told them she was going to trade her car in within the month. The car had less than 36,000 KM. They sold he came out with a bill for over $800. She told them she was going to trade her car in within the month. The car had less than 36,000 KM. They sold her a premiun service package that include cleaning the injectors. The car never ran properly after that. She caleed the dealer manger and he said to bad he cannot do anything about it. She did get another Chyrsler a month late and went out of her way to another Chrysler dealer. Bottom line they are oppotunists and take advantage of seniors. DO NOT GO THERE FOR A CAR OR SERVICE THEY ARE A BAND OF THIEVES. More
I went to this dealer, and made a deal for a lease. When the vehicle arrived they tried to change the terms of the lease, so I decided not to take the vehicle. The manager (Sebastien Pitrozello) then said the vehicle arrived they tried to change the terms of the lease, so I decided not to take the vehicle. The manager (Sebastien Pitrozello) then said I could bring the vehicle back after 24 months on a 27 month lease with no penalty, and wrote that on the contract. After 24 months I brought the vehicle back, and he refused to honour the written contract. Long story short, had to go to small claims court, and even after I had won, I had to send a bailiff. They only paid me back at that point. Beware what these people tell you. More
