VIP, I don't think so. Service department has no idea what customer service is. First visit with new car because rear defogger failed. The car was new and the hatch had never even been used. They did me a "favor" by repairing it when it should have been replaced. The second visit also when new was for clunking in the front axels, this is a defect from the production line but it is the owners that have to bring it in for repairs? Next visit for service but did not have the VIP discount card on me. I was told, "that's ok we will double up on your next visit." That was a lie. The next visit I was treated like a criminal because I was calling them out on the promise made. It is not the concept of the 25 dollars lost (I pay cash for my cars), it is the problem of being lied to in order to make you go away. Don't bother with shuttle, it is faster to walk or take the bus. The labor rate is way too high. Waiting area stinks. Never going back. If you appreciate bad after sale service, you have a match. Jeep Wrangler Problem called Death Wobble I have a problem with my 2008 Jeep Wrangler called ¨Death Wobble¨. This is a problem that happened when I was travelling at bout 95 km/hr and hit a sm I have a problem with my 2008 Jeep Wrangler called ¨Death Wobble¨. This is a problem that happened when I was travelling at bout 95 km/hr and hit a small bump. The Jeep started to shake like crazy and when I slowed to about 35km/hr it stopped. I pulled over on the highway and I thought I had two blowouts but the tires were fine. I scheduled an appointment to have the Jeep inspected and the mechanic came over and said he didn`t need to take the Jeep out for a test drive because he knew exactly what the problem was. Made an appintment, which the day before they wanted to reschedule but after a lot of talking they said to bring the car in. The next day at 7:00 a.m. I took the car in and they said they would call and let me know what the problem was. At about 2:25 p.m., I haven`t heard from them so I called. Jean Marc told me he would call me back in about 15 minutes, however 5 minutes later he calls and tells me the following: they verified the front end and this is what needed to be done: found broken front coil spring, recommend replacing front shocks because of age of vehicle and mileage, found front axle U joints seizing, found both side ball joints excessively loose, found both front brake hoses extremely rusted and rubbing on tire. Found steering damper leaking. TOTAL COST quoted, over 3000.00$. I said to him, are you crazy, the car only has 60,000 kms. His response, oh yes, but it is 7 years old. Told him to forget about it and I went and picked up the Jeep, took it over to mechanic that does oil changes on the Jeep as well as the Dodge Caravan and they put it on the lift. They looked at it and they said that the only repair the Jeep needed was the damper shock that needed to be replaced. They did the repair at a cost of 306.00 including labour and taxes. I waited this long to write because I wanted to make sure that the repair they did was the right one. I haven`t experienced the ¨death wobble¨ since the repair. I have to say that I would not recommend the service department at SOURCES DODGE CHRYSLER because I don`t find them to be honest. If you take your car for repairs there, well as they say: ¨It`s at your own risk¨. I would also suggest to Dodge Chrysler Canada that there should be a recall on this ¨Death Wobble¨ problem. This is a very serious problem and someone may get hurt because of this. More
