I brought my 07 Liberty in for factory recall, factory extended warranty issue and as I had just moved back from Manitoba, thought I would get the safety and DriveClean done at the same time. Was told by extended warranty issue and as I had just moved back from Manitoba, thought I would get the safety and DriveClean done at the same time. Was told by service that it was coding as misfire and possible combustion problems on 3 of 6 cylinders. As the vehicle has 130 K, I figured it was in need of a tune-up as it likely never had a new set of plugs and wires. Was shocked to hear the service manager inform me it might not be worth trying to save this vehicle (which is in EXCELLENT condition) as he felt it could be head/valve issues that could cost in excess of $4,000.00 if that was the case. Also gave me an estimate for $2,400.00 to deal with rear axle seals and brakes, yet he didn't even remove the brake assembly on the passenger side. He all but led me to the sales department to buy a new Chrysler product. I don't know if he thought he had himself a nice, juicy fish on the line, but not only did he not get the work to deal with rear-end that he recommended, he will never see me again. I would say avoid these guys like the plague, they obviously do not have the best interest of the customer in mind. More
We went to DeWildt Chrysler to investigate the cost and potential purchase of a used mini van. Our experience, from the moment we first booked an appointment to the day that we drove our 2010 Grand Caravan potential purchase of a used mini van. Our experience, from the moment we first booked an appointment to the day that we drove our 2010 Grand Caravan off the lot, was just terrific!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DeWildt Chrysler to my family and friends. The car is like new, and the staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. Thanks to Vania in Sales and Lorraine in Financing, our family of six can ride in safety and comfort once again. More

I have to say i was and remain totally convinced that buying from DeWildt Chrysler is an excellent choice and the right decision for me and my family. I have recommended DeWildt to several of my friends who have reported to me that they liked being treated like family and ended up buying from DeWildt as well. I do not give my endorsement very often, but i have to say i have extended it several times with DeWildt and every time, my friends have thanked me. i endorse the DeWildt family and consider them my family dealership. My wife and I purchased a used vehicle from DeWildt Chrysler in Hamilton about a year ago and it was one of the most satisfying automobile purchase exercises we have ever experienced. My wife hates buy Chrysler in Hamilton about a year ago and it was one of the most satisfying automobile purchase exercises we have ever experienced. My wife hates buying a vehicle because of a few very bad experiences in the past so she did not even want to participate. She asked me to do most of the ground work until she had to go to the dealership and sign the paperwork because the car was going to be in her name. Rick and Miriam DeWildt and their service people were very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. We told Rick what we wanted to spend. He didn't have the vehicle on the lot so he searched for it and found two options for us. He brought one in within our budget and suggested I take it home overnight so my wife could see it and test drive it. She loved it because it was identical to her previous vehicle that was off-lease. Here's the best part. My wife's previous vehicle was leased from another dealer and manufacturer. That dealer refused to budge on the residual value while the DeWildts not only found the same model, same year, with more features and less mileage their price was much lower than the residual value of our previous vehicle. And my wife really enjoyed meeting Rick and Miriam DeWildt their Business Manager and the service team. She thoroughly enjoyed her vehicle shopping experience because the people at DeWildt listened, were informative, were kind and friendly, and no stereotypical high pressure sales techniques. Subsequently, I have referred one of my neighbours who was also treated the same and ended up purchase a new 2012 vehicle and now my son and daughter-in-law are shopping for a new vehicle. I would recommend DeWildt Chrysler wholeheartedly. More
After purchasing a Nitro in 2009 for $17,000.00 and then using it as a trade in in 2012 we found out that the Nitro had been in an accident in 2008 at 12,000km to the tune of $12,000.00 of which we were ne using it as a trade in in 2012 we found out that the Nitro had been in an accident in 2008 at 12,000km to the tune of $12,000.00 of which we were never informed even after asking several times. They offered to buy back the Nitro for $8500.00 but we were using as a tradein at another dealership who offered us $10,500.00 before they found out thru a disclosure that it was in said accident so the tradein value was reduced by $3800.00. We are now in small claims court for not only the difference but we are taking them back to the beginning when we should have never been charged $17,000.00 for a vehicle that was in an accident (not fair market value) More
