Best car purchasing experience yet !! Tyler was extremely helpful from the minute I walked onto the lot the first day just killing sometime looking at new trucks. After talking with him and taking a test drive and discussing my future needs and wants, Tyler was able to point me in the right direction. He even found trucks that were going to be showing up soon to look at, to help me decide which of the 2 truck options worked best for me. At no point during my experience with Tyler or the sales team at Davis did I ever feel pressured to purchase a vehicle and Tyler made himself available to answer any of the questions that I did have and never made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. The process for me to make up my mind and purchase a vehicle took about a week and a half and the help was there when ever I needed it with no feelings of pressure or being rushed. This is only the fourth vehicle I have bought from a dealership and by far the best experience I have had yet. Would recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a new vehicle. More

We were at the time dealing with another dealership on a similar van - Spencer's prompt replies to our many questions, both by email and telephone, and attention to detail inspired us to travel from Calgary to Lethbridge, and buy our new van from him, (rather than from the other dealer, who seemed to think he was doing us a favor by responding at all). Spencer is a credit to Davis GMC Buick, and they are lucky to have such a competent, and down to earth and friendly person working for them - he is a credit to their organization! Excellent Dealership, Very Friendly staff. Spencer was very courteous, and even had a license plate waiting on the car when i arrived at the dealership. Really liked the car. Was informed that the dealership was changing the windshield as it had a small crack. Spencer was not pushy at all. When we went into his office he was really good about answering all of my questions. It is very nice to see a salesperson that knows what they are selling! Krista Mclean was also an excellent person to deal with. Krista explained the entire warranty to me before purchasing any of it. I was in my newer car very quickly, actually within 24 hours. Ok Sales/Crappy Service! The finance dept wasted my time. I had access to a line of credit, but they told me I might be able to get a better rate through them. The better ra The finance dept wasted my time. I had access to a line of credit, but they told me I might be able to get a better rate through them. The better rate was way higher and I was forced to wait another day and drive an extra two hours the next day because my line of credit bank was closed. Spencer was a good salesman. He did a video tour of the suv for me, answered all my questions. I was concerned about the warranty, since it was a used vehicle. He assured me on the phone that: "as long as you aren't putting 10,000 kms on it every month, we will take care of any problems for the first three months. Contact me directly if you have any problems." About a month after the purchase, I noticed the external temperature gauge would stick when the suv was washed. I emailed Spencer, his answer was: "Yes that is a very common issue. I wouldn't worry too much about it". A short Internet search told me two things, that it was common, and the sensor needed to be replaced! A few days later, I noticed four or five of the plastic snap in screw fasteners for the front engine cover were missing. It looked like some work had been done on it and they lost the fasteners. I emailed Spencer, to ask if any work had been done on the suv, his answer was: "I don't believe so. Unfortunately they are just snap in and another common thing to fall out. Just happens over time! I wouldn't worry about it too much." I removed one of the remaining fasteners a a test. It was extremely hard to get off. They didn't just"fall out"! Yet a few days later, about five weeks after my purchase, I noticed one of the chrome running boards was loose. It looked like it was rusted underneath around the bolt. I emailed Spencer, to ask when I should bring it in for repair which I assumed would be covered by them. His answer was: "I don't mind taking a look at it for you, but if it is only slightly loose I wouldn't be too worried about it.". He informed me that my contract only guaranteed, "...things like power train, air conditioning, things that are mechanical within the vehicle. It does not cover wearable items like windshield, tires, brake pads, running boards, floor mats, etc etc."  I emailed him back to remind him of his verbal promise to me over the phone, and pointed out that every part of a vehicle is "wearable". He ignored what I said and repeated his offer "to take a look at it". Not, however, under warranty! Three problems with the vehicle within five weeks of purchasing it. The answer for all three was: "I wouldn't worry about it"!!! Davis GMC Buick is a high volume dealer with crumby to non-existent after service. Spenser's first email to me after the sale had my name wrong! If you buy from them, pray that you don't need any work done under their so called warranty! More
