My sister & her husband just bought a car through Davis GMC in Airdrie and also dealt with Matt and their experience and service was outstanding! So that is where we decided to go. We were very pleased with the friendliness and promtness that was shown to meet our needs with no hassles whatsoever.We were able to be pre-approved within the first day,test drive the next and drive home with our new vehicle the following day! Matt made sure we were taken care of through the whole process as well as Justin who got us through the paper work. I, not my wife, was thinking of a new car purchase. We had a 2008 Buick Enclave and fully enjoyed it. I went looking at Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie where I went into the lot and walked around looking at new Buicks. I went home and convinced my lovely wife to come and have a look. She agreed and off we went where we met Keith Gadd It gives me great pleasure to write the first review of our experience with Keith Gadd. He was pleasant, patient,jovial (laughed at my jokes), and relatively knowledgeable for a new employee. He took us to the Buick's and as we had one for trade we just sat in one and decided to purchase a new one. We wanted to see if we could find one in a specific color. He and Rick Purdy searched their vast inventory but were unable to find exactly what we were looking for so we bought the car, which was not a second choice at all, but we did want to look for an exact match to our dreams. He maintained the same attitude throughout the 14 days it took us. Justin Phillips and I got some of the paper work done and as he was off to get married (congratulations) He assured us that Glenn Locke would assist us for the closing. Now comes the saga of our eventual purchase. Along comes a Hail storm and before we could finish the deal we were advised that the vehicle we had chosen was damaged, It was more than we were comfortable with. Working with Keith and Rick we found another vehicle in Calgary in a color that my wife had determined would be an acceptable compromise and arrangements were made to bring same out from Calgary for a showing. There was never any time that I was unwilling to deal with these people. As I wanted to make sure my wife was comfortable with the choice of color, before the expense of transfer, I took her to the dealership and Jeff Renaud assisted and showed us a truck in the chosen color. It was grey and not the deep purple that was desired by my lovely wife. Both of us were labeled as color blind and I suppose we were but that was the color name she had picked. Again we went to Rick who worked for a long time and finally found a near match to what we had purchased. The vehicle was in Edmonton and had to be brought in. We took delivery of our Buick Enclave today. (24th of July, 2013). I can not say enough about the team we dealt with. Through all our tribulations, and my mistakes, they all were completely understanding and helpful. We even had a couple of laughs at my expense, which was completely appropriate. The guys were very patient with me as I was in the dealership, off and on,, drinking their coffee and taking up space. I would not hesitate in recommending this salesman and the team to any prospective purchaser. ps... Thanks Keith. You were great and exceedingly patient with me. In December of 2012 our daughter purchased a 2012 Terrain. At her request we sat in with her for some of the negotiations. Jo Haviland greeted us shortly after we arrived. After some discussion and viewing of vehicles we were most interested in. Jo arranges a test drive a 2013 Equinox. She was very helpful picking color of interior to match vehicle color. Never once did Jo pressure us in anyway to purchase a new vehicle that might not suit our liking. In fact she allowed us to take the weekend and think about the different options and vehicles we were most interested in. After making our purchase,Jo was very helpful in going though the different settings on the vehicle,On star,blue tooth etc. She was so pleasant and patient with us. I would recommend Jo Haviland to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle from Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie. This was vehicle #5 for me from this dealership, second vehicle since it has become Davis Chevrolet. This experience I am sharing below is of my latest purchase of my 2013 Chevrolet Sierra LTZ with GFX package. She's a beauty! 5 on customer service: The entire team was great to deal with. Eunice went over and above with customer service making sure I got into the right vehicle (I changed my mind 3 times....heck I would have given up on me. ) She was patient, is extremely knowledgeable about the products she is selling and if she doesn't know something she finds out for you, trust me I always have A LOT of questions…. Glen and Jeff closed the deal, again very knowledgeable and I found them very personable and pleasant to deal with. Lastly Rick stepped up to the plate and had my best interest in mind. Thanks team!! 4 Quality of work: A bit of the hard nose coming out of me here. I had a box cover put on the truck, the drain tubes were installed so the water was exiting inside the box.... I need my tools to stay dry, having the drain tubes exit on the inside of the box kind of defeats the purpose of having a cover if you are going to just drain the water into the box anyways. I bought a few plastic elbows and I rigged up a drain system through two of the plastic caps in the bed. Problem solved. Secondly, granted it was raining but I would have liked to have seen the truck detailed a little better when I picked it up. Again little things like removing the blue covering on the white lettering on the wheels. Trivial yes but I was brought up if you are going to do something right, do it right or don't do it at all. 5 Friendliness: Does anyone ever have a bad day at this dealership? If they do you would never know it! I dislike when dealerships pounce on you and push you on the hard sell. However I don't like walking around on a lot for 20 minutes and not being greeted. It's a hard balance and Davis Chevrolet has it just right. 5 Overall Experience: OK so here’s the deal. Car dealerships are the enemy right? You must fight it out, battle to the end! Or do you? Is it wrong to have had such a pleasant experience? Seriously I don't think I have had a more pleasurable experience buying a new vehicle than I did with my latest purchase. 4 Price Davis Chevrolet will probably be disappointed with me that I did not score them a 5. But if I scored them a 5 they would not work to improve in this area. This will affect me in three years when I go to buy my next new vehicle from them, see how that works :-) Brent More
