Good morning Truckguy, I understand the value of time and apologize for failing to better inform and manage yours on this transaction. As the Service Manager it is my responsibility to ensure my team is respecting my clients expectations using any and all of the resources we have made available to them. I assure you at Davis Chevrolet we strive to ensure each client transaction is uniform and upholds value and precision. Typically our appointment system will allow for a check in period (This is the greeting and review of service requirements with one of our service consultants) from there the repair order flows into a queue. The reason automotive dealerships do not reserve 'on hoist' times is because of the unpredictability of service repairs. It is not uncommon for a one hour diagnostic appointment to turn into a thirteen hour repair. It is for this reason we always attempt to 'buy' a service appoint in full or half day increments, unless extreme circumstances apply. In your scenario, having over sized items to pick up and being quoted a promise time of 3PM we should have manipulated our assets to accommodate you. In an effort to retain and foster some professional relationship I would like to offer the use of our service valet program, this will allow for pick up, service, clean and re-delivery of your vehicle on all service visits for one years time at no charge. Regarding the cooling system flush, it is rare that a mistake of this nature is made, all services have a mandated test drive and quality control check process. If an error was made on our part I would be happy to correct this concern and refund any money related to this service.
