Hi Glenn, thank you for getting in touch with me, in regards to my truck that was repaired at davis chevrolet, i am beyond frustrated, when i picked up my truck the first time no one went over anything with me , everything on my truck was working i got pulled over by the rcmp , for no licensee plate lights , and thats when i noticed all the mistakes in my truck , my back up sensors stopped working , and i am sure it is because of your shop that took the bumper off, there are various paint problems with the truck , they painted the cab corner trying to match up the silver on the box , and in the process damaged the cab of my truck now , graham should not be a service manager and you should hire a new painter , because that is back yard work, now because of this i am now responsible for davis chevrolets mess with my cab, although the second body shop i took my truck too, agrees that 100% it is new freshly applied paint on the cab of my truck , so now i have paint that is falling off because it wasnt done properly , i am thinking of talking to legal council about this, i dont think davis chevrolet should be able to get away with this, i will be contacting gm of canada with pictures and a detailed account of this mess , i am thinking of putting a sign on my truck where the paint is coming off (painted by davis chevrolet) i do know lots of people and i do belong to lots of truck forums that i will post my experience with davis about , if you have any questions for me you can call my cell shelly in the autobody department has it , she was very helpful otherwise i will just continue, ive tried to be reasonable and patient but i can only take so much xx Tim couttie

They are repairing it but the cab and the over spray on back side are not going to be covered So I am out of pocket. ( and why I'm mad about this whole thing ). Graham just sugar coats everything And I'm left paying for damages done to my truck from Davis body shop. All I ever wanted was my truck in the same condition before the accident

Hi Chris, We have had our Parts and Service team working on this. Unfortunately with your car being a 2009 it is well outside General Motors warranty. We can get you a new transmission, parts only, for $1,980.00 plus gst. We would also reduce our labour to $870.00 including an alignment. This is a brand new GM transmission with a 3 year/160,000 km warranty and its transferable. I know its way outside the used transmission solution you found. We are offering what we can do; sell you the parts at wholesale rather than retail and reduce our labour to help as well. With your budget of $750-1,000 cash difference we also don't have any pre-owned vehicles that fit that criteria. We would love to find something workable however at this time there is nothing we could sell to you in those parameters. I know this isn't what you hoped to hear and we are sorry to disappoint. if things change we will contact you and ask that you do the same. Sincerely, Glenn
