Thanks for serving my 2017 Ford Escape. I requested to have engine coolant , transmission and differential flush. Thanks to Jennifer as she kindly provided a rough estimate and contacted me I requested to have engine coolant , transmission and differential flush. Thanks to Jennifer as she kindly provided a rough estimate and contacted me to inform that rear differential is not serviceable on my vehicle. Overall process is smooth and friendly. My only suggestion would be a curtesy lift home or vehicle drop off. Again kudos to Jennifer and Ford techs. PS. Thanks for finding my xxxxxxx. I was looking for it everywhere. More
I phoned Dams Ford on the Langley Bypass today to see about getting my 2005 Ford F 350 into the shop to have the toe in on the vehicle adjusted to factory specs. I have just installed all new tires and inspected all steering components for wear. I had found that the passenger side tie rod end has some play in it and changed it out. I was shocked to hear the response from the customer service rep when I tried to make an appointment, "Your vehicle is over 10 years old, we don’t work on them". She then gave me a name of a shop close to them. In other words, we sold you the vehicle and we don’t want to see you again. The basic response from the dealership was “Sex & Travel”! Not impressed! We use Dams Truck shop to service our RV and Jit and John go above and beyond for us, even coming in on a Sunday to process our paperwork so we can pick up the vehicle for a planned trip. Went to the parts department yesterday. 4 workers. Nobody in line. Waited at the counter for 15 minutes. People went on breaks. When helped the worker did not want to get out of his ch 4 workers. Nobody in line. Waited at the counter for 15 minutes. People went on breaks. When helped the worker did not want to get out of his chair. Part was 250$ and had to.get.out of the US. Sold me a 14$ fuse that was $8 ecerywhere else. Did not answer my questions as asked. Terrible customer service. I wont be back for parts or a new ford. More
Horrible experience with Dams. Tal Power (finance) put through a loan fraudulently on a car we never even saw and we’re still paying the price on our credit. I just recently bought used 2017 Jeep grand Cherokee trail hawk from Dams Ford. Went in wanting to buy a decent vehicle for my family while. Took the vehicle for a test drive all was good, loved it. We quickly got all the paper work done as we were pushed against time before closing. After getting the vehicle home in the daylight we noticed the passenger side door was yellow compared to the rest of vehicle which is white. When I spoke to the salesman John he said he didn’t know about it. I sent him pics and he said he would talk to his manager. I never did hear back from him. I then went in and spoke to the manager about possibly having them repaint the door. Right away he knew which vehicle it was, and had added that it had $20 000 previous damage which was not noted on the car fax! He said because it’s a used vehicle there was nothing they could do about it to help. He said he could recommend me to their shop but it would have to be paid for from my pocket to have it repainted. When I went to speak to Dams ford collusion for an estimate the lovely gentleman asked who’s pocket it was coming out of mine or if they were covering it. When I told him that the manager said it would be my cost he rolled his eyes and said of corse like he wasn’t surprised. With being a mother of 3 I had spent all I had on this vehicle and do not have any lil bit to spend on painting it. When being a mom of 3 and spending $40 000 on buying a vehicle from your inheritance you want it all one color. You want it to be nice. You would think that the least they could do would be to run it threw the paint shop at their cost after spending that much on a vehicle you bought from them. I would NOT recommend this dealership at all! They claim they are a 5 star dealership. I claim to differ. Any other dealership I spoke to has said they should have offered to fix it. Not dams ford! MY RATING 0! . . . Awful CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would never go back and would never refer a customer to them. * Their website advertises that they “ enjoy meeting and exceeding expectations” in all things automotive! False More
Went in on Saturday and called back to put a deposit on the vehicle we found. Received a reply very close to closing and didn’t want to give a credit card over text- which was the original request- amd som the vehicle we found. Called first thing Sunday within minutes of opening amd was told I couldn’t and if I wanted the vehicle I would have to give a $2000 non refundable deposit. After they hung up on me, I called back and asked they honour the written deposit quote for $500. They did but then quoted us two percent higher in financing than our bank- then went from 8% to 14%-16%. When we refused the higher amount and said we would go through our bank or pay cash, they gave us less than 24 hours to close on a work day before refunding our deposit and telling us they wouldn’t honoyr the deposit. Just awful customer service, disrespectful, belligerent. More
