After going through the process of financing and communicating back and forth with the sales team I was informed at the last minute that one of the dealership technicians was considering taking the communicating back and forth with the sales team I was informed at the last minute that one of the dealership technicians was considering taking the vehicle in question for themselves. Racing to get to the dealership to place a down payment amounted to nothing as the manager decided to give it to the staff member instead of us. This is not how business is done. Customers should not have to compete with staff who are "considering" vehicles and then have them arbitrability snatched up despite doing all suggested to sway the manager's decision. I feel sorry for the poor sales staff trying to earn an honest buck under such embarrassing incompetence. They should consider going where their obvious ability and integrity will not be undermined by nepotism and short-sightedness. We are so discouraged by this ordeal that we have gone over to Toyota. People wish to feel proud in their new vehicles. You can't feel that way if the manager at the dealership treats you like an inconsequential nobody. More
