Asked them to let me get it checked out by my mechanic and they said it's not their policy as their mechanics have done a complete inspection and they stand behind what they are selling. Also it was stated that they would repair anything that was found that needed to be repaired that was on their basic inspection sheet. I explained to Randy that for my piece of mind I would like to have it checked by my mechanic , as it's a cost to me and not them. After he refused, At that point I asked for my deposit back, at that point Randy said to go ahead and take it to your mechanic. As soon as my mechanic drove it into the bay he said there was something wrong as the engine it didn't sound right. He figured someone put the wrong oil in a vortec motor which I guess is not a good thing. Then he noticed sand up on the top end of the motor which he figured came from a flood. The carfax stated the vehicle was owned by a person in there fifties but it was quite apparent that it was kid driven. Also carfax said it was in one minor accident a $3000 repair. But upon further inspection under the proper light it was discovered there was 4 different colors of paint on the vehicle. The bumpers didn't line up, the rear hatch was replace there was rust under the parts that were replaced. This was a $13599.00 so needless to say when I brought the vehicle back and told them what we found they would not even look me in the eye and didn't even bother to dispute what was found. More

We've been trying for over a year to trade in our (now old) car and had nothing but problems. We dealt with pushy salesman who had tried to put us into vehicles we did not want, salesman who couldn't give us the time of day and never responded to our emails or phone calls... I'd even had salesman tell me to just wait and left me hanging for over a month and then was upset when I tried somewhere else but I have yet to find a dealer that listens, works for you and with you , responds back to you quickly and tries even after the banks say no. THIS dealership was the dealership that made the world of difference. Ariel listened to what I wanted, he considered my wants and my needs and he put us through to the best finance persons available. The finance team worked tirelessly to get us into the car we wanted - not taking no for an answer and trying again and again. A new car was never in my cards...a new car with a sunroof, navigation system, backup camera and more...was definitely never in my cards... yet, that's what we got! Not only did I get a BRAND NEW 2015 DODGE JOURNEY but our interest was cut in over half and we are paying LESS than we were on our previous, out dated vehicle!!! We spent the day going around the auto mall, stopping in at different dealerships, and Courtesy Chrysler was our last stop. We were instantly greeted by a very nice salesmen-Nick. He gave us both a personalized test, which seems to a good system that they do with their customers. The test asked us what we were looking for in a car- literally anything you could think about. Our results came up to be more of a fully loaded Car, the Jeep Compass. Now I've had this car before and I wasn't too fond of it. I have always had my eye on one particular car, which is the Jeep Wrangler. My partner, who liked the Wrangler, wasn't too sure about making a huge investment on a car he wasn't in love with. We took it for a lengthy test drive, off road... Truly getting a taste of what this car could do. When we had arrived back to the dealership, Darrell, the sales manager was kind to us, with a very noticeable bold personality. If I were to say, he is the exact definition of an agressive car sales person. We had discussed our budget and were firm that we wouldn't go over a certain price. He came back with a deal that seemed too amazing to be true, in fact that was the case. My partner and I took a few days to do our research, call my family friend at Chrysler Toronto to discuss the deal we were given. After all was done, we decided that we were going to make this wonderful purchase. We called and made an appointment, and were headed to pick up the car! We were running a little late, due to the fact that we live an hour and a half away from Calgary, and that the highway was stopped bumper to bumper. We called the dealership, and they were fine to wait for us, after all... we were purchasing a car, you would think that they would. When we arrived...nobody that we have been speaking too about the car was even there. The finance woman, Nick or Darrell. Right away the bad experience began. We had 10 minutes to get to the registry office, and one of the men working at the dealership pulled around a brand new SRT and whipped us over. That I would say, has been the only good thing that's happened to us since doing business with this dealership. When we arrived back to start our financing papers, we found out that what was written down and approved, was completely the opposite thing that we agreed on. What should be a stress free simple process, turned into a huge mess. We spent some time waiting to hear back from the bank to get approved of the deal that we originally agreed on. Finally they called back and we were ecstatic to find out that our deal had gone through. The financing woman we were dealing with - rushing through all of these papers and signatures so she could get out of there. Once all was said and done we were just handed the keys and told to enjoy. Enjoy? How do we even use our car. Now it's not rocket science, but it has taken us some time to figure everything out, and we are still not fully sure how everything works. What kind of service is here's the keys, enjoy. We have had better service from going through a McDonald's drive thru! But... it doesn't end there. A week later we get a call from Darrell, asking us how we liked the car. After he was done telling us that, he told us we have two options. 1) the bank didn't approve our deal, so we need to start paying what they want or 2) return the car or he will report it stolen. Absolutely flabbergasted. How could this happen. We had signed our contract, we had driven off the lot. Calling police officers of the family, calling lawyers to find out if everything that their saying is legal, and it wasn't. How could you dare threaten a customer to report the car stolen? There was nothing but hostile anger from Darrell's end. We stayed calm, when inside we were freaking out. 10 minutes later, we received a phone call from Darrell, with a half-sorry apology. Saying that he read things wrong and messed up. He thanked us for being so calm, when if it was him he would have gone insane. The phone call ended as "I'm sorry, enjoy the car." We had received one email from Nick, one mont after all this happened, asking how we liked the car, and if we could promote our business. That was his sole motive in sending that email... Bring him more business. Since that, there has been no follow up phone calls. Asking us if there was anything they could do for us. You would think after that traumatic experience that they would at least try to do something. For over 20 years, my family has been with Chrysler. For 20 years they've been happy with their cars and have truly enjoyed the commitment the company has made in valuing their business. We sit in our brand new car feeling bittersweet. That we drive around with a courtesy Chrysler sticker on the back of the car- an extreme embarrassment. We are truly disgusted by how poorly we have been treated. For someone's first car buying experience, this has truly traumatized us. For dealers to take advantage of that is beyond wrong. The reviews online about their horrible post sale service are 100% true. It is just unfortunate that WE were hoodwinked into having that happen to us as well. At the end of the day, this is an embarrassment on Chrysler as a company, that something as exciting as buying one of their cars is represented by a dealership like this one. More
