With the dealership being crazy, Kris had to deal with another customer and we were introduced to Darrell who immediately proceeded outside to get the new Journey for us to test drive. My wife and I walked outside to await Darrell, and he was already waiting for us with a sheepish look on his face and then he explained, "I just tore my pants wide open!" Nevertheless, Darrell continued with us uninterrupted and professionally ( other than the fact that we had to walk in front of him for some reason ). My wife even said that we could drive him home on the test drive to change but he deferred saying it was too far. After the test drive, we were taken back into Kris' office to go over the financial terms of purchasing the vehicle and as we looked over the numbers, Darrell returned as well, not to discuss vehicles but to return Kris' stapler which had been required to do a little surgery on some over stretched pants. So any ways, I would like to say a big thank you to all who were involved in helping us with the vehicle and especially Darrell for being as professional as one could hope with torn pants and a blizzard rolling in. Pretty much the greatest dealership I've ever walked onto. Every individual there surpasses expectations of trying to help you and find what meets your need/ wants. We have had our 2011 T&C for 18 months and it has 53000 km on it. We experience a transmission failure at 16000km. The dealer inspected it about 500km before that failure and said everything was fi 53000 km on it. We experience a transmission failure at 16000km. The dealer inspected it about 500km before that failure and said everything was fine. The transmission was overhauled at that point. Next at 35000km we had a burnt exhaust valve on the engine. This was also repaired. Finally at 53000 kms the transmission failed again and this time it was a complete failure and the care had to be towed to the dealership. It has sat at the dealership for week and they have been unable to confirm when they will be receiving the replacement transmission and how long we will be without our car. They called us once after we called Chrysler Canada but other than that it has been up to us to call and try and get information from them. Very poor customer service. At this point they should be talking about providing us with an extended warranty or perhaps offering to take our vehicle on trade in because we really don't want to drive it anymore. Instead they can't even seem to get organized to repair it and offer no information to us about when that will happen. The service manager does not return phone calls. The service advisor is somewhat more helpful but still does not follow up EVEN after he says he will. Stay away. More
