Purchase Process People at the dealership have been wonderful even with a trail of problems in delivery of my vehicle. First order, the vehicle was in Ontario and was supposed to take two weeks to deliver. After waiting two weeks, I was informed that vehicle was severely damaged in lot. This necessitated a personal factory order to get all the options I desired. Production was slow due to backlog of orders; then delivery was slowed due to shortage of railcars. Through this process which took approximately six months (ugh), Darrell was attentive to my needs and kept me informed of the status of my vehicle. Had I counted on receiving this vehicle earlier, I would have had to look at alternatives. Fortunately, I was able to withstand the lengthy wait. I have since discovered a small scratch that had been quickly penciled over; however, I was told to take the vehicle to Courtesy collision and repair - they will be repainting the full tailgate. Darrell has continually made himself available for any help that I might require now, or in the future. I have only had my vehicle a week at this point, but I love it and feel the wait has been worth it. More

I have to write this letter of complaint to you in an effort that such an incident in your company will never happen again. I purchased a second hand Ford Escape on the 29. May 2014 in the afternoon. I took the vehicle for a test drive and liked it very much. I decided to purchase the vehicle and made a $ 2500 deposit with the rest ($ 10349.99) to be paid on Saturday the 31. May when I pick the vehicle up. So I went and got the insurance and registration for the vehicle at AMA. Friday the 30. May at approx. 0930 hrs. , a message was left on my house phone to call the used car manager. As I was out of the house all day, I only got the message in the evening. On Saturday the 31. May at approx. 0930 hrs. I attended your facility again to pick up my newly purchased vehicle. I was led into the salesman’s office and then the used car manager revealed to me and my wife, that the vehicle had been sold to another customer ahead of being sold to me, and that I do not have a vehicle. He then offered me another vehicle, namely a Subaru Forester, for a $ 2500.oo up price. I declined this offer, as I felt I was getting cheated in a big way. I then had to go to AMA and cancel the registration and insurance. Now this whole incident cost me extra time and money and I request these costs to be reimbursed to me by cheque as soon as possible. The $ 2500 was credited back to my visa account. Following is a breakdown of costs of running around: Loss at AMA for registration $ 19.95 (agency fee) My time 4 hrs. @ $50.oo $ 200.00 Total $ 219.95 You will find copies of relevant papers attached. I attended you company in good faith as your company seemed to have a solid reputation. Unfortunately it did not work out for me.
