I was shopping for a new Jeep and visited Courtesy Chrysler with a friend on January 17, 2026, where salesperson Dilraj (“Diesel Dil”) Thind showed me vehicles online within my $31,000–$35,000 budget, Chrysler with a friend on January 17, 2026, where salesperson Dilraj (“Diesel Dil”) Thind showed me vehicles online within my $31,000–$35,000 budget, though none were available on the lot. After test driving a Jeep Compass North that I did not like, he suggested waiting for other vehicles to arrive. When we returned on January 24, he said the pre-owned and demo vehicles had been sold and instead showed us a brand-new, fully loaded Jeep Compass North that had just arrived and could not be started, so I was unable to test drive it. Sales manager Jamie Eye promoted it as a great deal, and after what they described as a discount, the total price was $41,880; they requested a $1,000 deposit and directed me to financial manager Gary Ghaderi, who provided a price breakdown that included a $489 charge for “Courtesy Advantage,” a 24-month insurance policy with a $5,000 theft benefit. When I questioned the charge, Gary said the total price would remain the same whether I accepted the insurance or not and claimed they were not required to provide the breakdown before taking my deposit. After researching Alberta regulations, I learned that a full price breakdown should be disclosed before a customer makes a purchasing decision, and my insurance broker later confirmed similar coverage costs only $60–$70 per year. I then requested a refund of my deposit but was told I had signed a non-refundable agreement; in his final email, Dil accused me of being dishonest for continuing to shop elsewhere and refused to return my deposit. Dishonest-Disrespectful with client that don’t agree on their terms of sale. worst part is that they don’t present terms & conditions before placing non refundable deposit and if you end up not using their their terms of sale. worst part is that they don’t present terms & conditions before placing non refundable deposit and if you end up not using their bank interest rate 10 % ( with credit score of 890 ) on new vehicle, they change pricing of vehicle. Either you loose deposit or you pay new price. I highly recommend potential customers to stay away from this dealership if they value their money. More
