I was also told my rear brakes were worn out, which greatly surprised me. Fortunately I resisted the sales pitch and had this checked out by my regular tire shop. They pulled all my wheels and found everything was OK. Their measurement of the pad thickness was almost twice what I was told by you. Do you see why I have lost confidence in your service? I plan to get a newer vehicle next year but I doubt that I will call on your dealership.

This is for the attention of Vida Nikravan. This message is further to my reply of March 25, which was in response to yours of March 23. My name is Ken Kufeldt 403 278 9416. My invoice number is 448506 dated March 22. Ahmed's scare about my brakes proved to be false, so I am now wondering if my car really needed tie rod ends. I was told it was unsafe to drive and my tires were worn on the outside edges, etc etc. I am a careful driver and am always very aware of my car's condition and response. Driving response is no different after this expensive repair. It has always been steady on the road and needed no corrective actions. I have driven cars with bad tie rod ends/bad alignment and I know what that is like. There does not appear to be side tread wear on my tires When Ahmed called, I felt he was exaggerating but assumed it might be possible that a little looseness had developed in the tie rod ends. I have always trusted Courtesy but I feel my trust may have been abused in this instance. I will never feel good about this repair.

Hello Roger, I appreciate your call of yesterday. After further consideration, I have decided I will not bring my car in for another brake inspection. I trust the tire shop that rechecked my brakes after Ahmed's somewhat fictional scary advice to me. Perhaps I will return to your dealership after some personnel changes have been made but for now I will go where the advice given to customers is somewhat less influenced by the existence of commissions for service advisers for up selling.
