Brought our less than 1 year old truck in today for a trailer brake notification on the dash. We booked our morning appointment two weeks ago. Our truck sat there all day and nobody even looked at it. We trailer brake notification on the dash. We booked our morning appointment two weeks ago. Our truck sat there all day and nobody even looked at it. We picked it up at end of day having spent more than 2 hours dropping off and picking up. To be told at that point that some people had called in sick for the day was unacceptable. This dealership could have told us not to come today and saved us a lot of time. A rebook is preferred to pretending you might get to the work when your only electrical expert is known to be unavailable. To make matters worse we were only notified that our truck would have to “stay overnight because they couldn’t get to it” when we reached out for a status update toward the end of the day. To call this place less than proactive is the understatement of the year. The service advisors were very avoidant when we tried to discuss potential better ways of handling situations like ours in the future which makes me question whether we will ever service our vehicle there again. More
