I am disappointed and frustated with the dishonest and unprofessional practices at Sunridge Nissan. I am writing this review to warn other customers—especially newcomers—about the dealership’s misrepresen unprofessional practices at Sunridge Nissan. I am writing this review to warn other customers—especially newcomers—about the dealership’s misrepresentation, lack of accountability, and refusal to address clear staff mistakes. In April 2024, both Sameer (Finance Manager) and Tarik (Sales Representative) clearly told me that when your lease ends of Nissan Rogue you will get your 2000$ full refund. I relied on their professional advice and proceeded with the trade-in and purchased vehicle. Recently, Security Plus rejected my claim, stating that the plan becomes invalid when the vehicle is no longer under my ownership for 3 years—directly contradicting what the dealership staff told me. This is a clear case of misrepresentation, which is prohibited under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act and AMVIC regulations. Country Hills Nissan is fraud and cheater, Beware from them as they are looters. Please thought 100 times before purchasing the vehicle. More
This dealership operates with misrepresentation, pressure tactics, and zero accountability. I leased a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV in February 2024 and was pressured by the sales and finance team into buying an tactics, and zero accountability. I leased a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV in February 2024 and was pressured by the sales and finance team into buying an ASP / extended protection plan. I clearly asked how a 3-year ASP plan made sense with a 2-year lease, and the finance representative explicitly told me it was a “guaranteed refund plan” — that if I returned the vehicle at lease end and didn’t use the plan, I would get my full money back, and that the 3-year term only applied if I kept the vehicle. That representation is the only reason I agreed to purchase it. When my lease ended and I returned to the dealership to get my refund, the same person who sold me the product completely changed his story, saying he “assumed” I would keep the car and now claiming I would only receive a prorated refund — something that was never disclosed, explained, or agreed to at the time of sale. When I insisted on the full refund based on what was promised, I was told an “exception” would be filed and that I would receive confirmation by February 24, 2026. No email was sent. I followed up directly and also emailed dealership management — no response from anyone. Total silence. This dealership shows a consistent pattern of: • Misrepresenting products • Using high-pressure sales tactics • Changing terms after the sale • Avoiding written accountability • Ignoring customers once money is taken I had already given them negative feedback in the Nissan vehicle purchase survey due to the same aggressive behavior, and unfortunately nothing has changed. If you’re considering this dealership: Get everything in writing. Do not rely on verbal promises. Be extremely cautious with add-ons, warranties, and protection plans. This is not professional conduct and not how customers should be treated. More
Dishonest and Manipulative Professionals—Extreme Red Flags! We went into this dealership on January 17 to test drive a Nissan Rogue. From the start, the experience was great. The receptionist, Nitesh Flags! We went into this dealership on January 17 to test drive a Nissan Rogue. From the start, the experience was great. The receptionist, Nitesh, and Abdul were polite, professional, and welcoming. Nitesh and Alpesh explained the vehicle, leasing, and financing options thoroughly. We spent close to three hours at the dealership reviewing details and paperwork. The first half of the experience was smooth, transparent, and reassuring—no complaints at all. This was my first experience with Nissan, and I had heard excellent reviews about the Rogue. Based on what we were told, we felt confident moving forward. We paid $2,000, co-signed the papers, and left with the understanding that the deal was finalized and moving forward. That confidence was completely misplaced. Without verifying our income, the dealership ran credit checks on both me and my brother on January 20, even though we both have excellent credit and stable income. After taking our money and signatures, the dealership went completely silent for 10 days. My email to the member of finance team went unanswered, and on the afternoon of January 28, I had to call the dealership four separate times just to get a response. Wouldn’t you think a dealership would call their clients if the lease was rejected? Instead, it felt like they were withholding our money while sitting on their answer. When we finally did get a response, we were told that Nissan Finance had “rejected” our lease. The explanations given were beyond ridiculous. I had to remind them that I am not new to Canada, so don’t try to use a bait strategy of instilling fear or confusion to push us into financing. Immediately after, they tried to pressure us into financing instead, claiming our credit was “poor”—which is false. If our credit were truly poor, why would Nissan Finance approve a car on finance? To make matters worse, they did not provide any real explanation, and their careless credit checks caused both of us to lose 10 points each. This is manipulation, misleading, and completely unprofessional. I am not upset that the lease was rejected. I am furious about the dishonesty, wasted time, and blatant attempt to pressure us into financing under false pretenses. The entire process felt like a scheme to take advantage of trusting customers, and it was extremely stressful, confusing, and disturbing. This has been my worst experience in Canada with buying a car. How does a dealership: Run credit checks without proper documentation or verifying income Go completely silent for 8 days despite repeated follow-ups Fail to call clients about lease rejection, withholding answers and money Provide ridiculous explanations and use fear tactics to push financing Claim credit issues that don’t exist and harm credit scores And conveniently try to push the deal from leasing to financing to suit their agenda? Buying a car should be transparent, professional, and trustworthy. Instead, this experience was stressful, manipulative, and deeply disappointing. While some staff initially did their job well, the lack of honesty, accountability, and integrity from others completely overshadows that. More

I am writing this review to warn other customers—especially newcomers—about the dealership dishonest and unprofessional practices at Sunridge Nissan. I am writing this review to warn other customers—especially newcomers—about the dealership’s misrepresentation, lack of accountability, and refusal to address clear staff mistakes. In October 2023, both Rebecca Mullin-Lawlor (Finance Manager) and Wayne Fan (Sales Representative) clearly told me that trading in my 2023 Nissan Kicks would NOT affect the validity of my Added Security Plan (ASP) and that I would still be eligible for the $2,000 refund at the end of the term. I relied on their professional advice and proceeded with the trade-in and purchased a Pathfinder. Recently, Security Plus rejected my claim, stating that the plan becomes invalid when the vehicle is no longer under my ownership—directly contradicting what the dealership staff told me. This is a clear case of misrepresentation, which is prohibited under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act and AMVIC regulations. When I brought this issue to the dealership, the “General Manager” refused to investigate and refused to take responsibility. They even claimed that Wayne is “no longer staff”, but this is NOT TRUE—Wayne Fan told my friend he is on vacation (underlying meaning: he is still working there). This raises serious concerns about honesty within the dealership’s management. To make matters worse, I am not the only victim. I have another friend who experienced the exact same misrepresentation from the same dealership. This shows it is not an isolated incident—it appears to be a pattern. I strongly advise potential customers to be careful and double-check everything you are told by staff here. My experience shows that what they promise verbally is not reliable, and management will not support you when problems arise. More
Took my vehicle in for a booked appointment (oil change and tires changed). Waited an hour in line just to check in. And waited 5 hours for my car to be finished. Their only response was sorry, it’s a busy and tires changed). Waited an hour in line just to check in. And waited 5 hours for my car to be finished. Their only response was sorry, it’s a busy time of year. Unacceptable. Worst customer service. More
This dealership runs a money grabbing scheme from its customers. I enquired about price for Nissan Kicks and the guy told me a staggering price of $38,500 which is insane considering the same vehicle was customers. I enquired about price for Nissan Kicks and the guy told me a staggering price of $38,500 which is insane considering the same vehicle was available for less than 31,500 elsewhere. When I challenged him, he came down to $32,000. They just take advantage of customer's ignorance if you do not do enough research. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE EVER. There are other dealers who are more honest and forthcoming with their pricing. More
