Then when we got back to showroom he went to his manager to put together a quote. The quote showed the msrp increased by more than 1000bucks over the Huyundai Canada website, an additional fee of $2200 for "things like the wheel locknuts and nitrogen in the tires"' huge dealer fees...for a total of over $47,000 for the stock vehicle. He offered 7.99%financing. When I pointed out that Huyundai canada is offering cash discount in addition to 0% financing, the salesman said it didn't apply to the Santa Fe sport (which was a lie). Given his manager helped him write up the quote, clearly they were both trying to hose me. These guys are crooks. Wheel locknuts are $28 not $2200 ...but I hadn't even requested lock nuts. What a sleezy place. Stay away..if you must have a huyundai go to the crowfoot dealer. More

I wasn't ready to trade in yet but over the next several months Jarrett kept in touch with me and finally it sounded like the right time to trade in so I scheduled an appointment with Jarrett on August 30th2014. When I came in I was introduced to another nice young man named Brian Cho who would be filling in for Jarrett as Jarrett did not make it into work that day. After Brian spent some time with me, I thought it was time to move forward however I told Brian I needed to go pick up my spouse to go to the airport (my spouse works for the airline and had to go to work) and we would talk about it and make a decision. Brian used his superb sales training and convinced me to place a $500.00 “hold” deposit so I could lock in the deal should I move forward, so I did with my interact card. I left to pick up my spouse, we came by on our way to the airport and when we arrived Brian was busy so my spouse and I quickly went over to the vehicle to look at it. After looking at it, my spouse did not like it and said “No keep the current car”. We went to the airport and I came by afterwards to request a refund of the “hold” deposit. I met Brian at the front, told him what I needed to do, he was very nice and said he had to go to talk to his Sales Manager Ryan Romano. The next several events are absolutely astonishing! First Ryan didn't even get up from his “perch” behind the glass window, I had to go to him. He then proceeded to give me every lame comment imaginable on why he didn't feel like I should get a refund (sales guys worked hard etc.), I finally smiled at him and asked him if he was married, he said no but he had a girlfriend. I chuckled and told him then he had no idea where I was coming from when a spouse says “no” and what that meant. He then said to me “Well aren't you the decision maker?” That was it for me, I told him I did not need him to give me a lecture on being married and that the conversation was over and I would meet him at the terminal to receive my refund and I left. After leaving me at the front for several minutes he finally came out, grumbling about the refund and I just kept saying “please stop talking and process my refund”. He attempted to twice and a convenient error came up that it would not go through, then he proceeds to tell me that the “Service Department” has already closed out the terminal for the day and nothing could be processed and that I would have to come back “sometime next week” for a manual check and he just walked away not saying another word me. The lovely receptionist apologized about the poor customer service I had just received. I told her there was no need for her to apologize, she didn't do anything but she said she still felt like someone should. Unbelievable! I left knowing I was powerless and wondering if this guy thinks I am stupid? I have worked with terminals all my life! You can always give a refund. But again- I am powerless. I returned 2 days later. I walked in and Brian Cho was at the reception (this part is very important). Brian smiled at me, shook my hand and said “Hi”, I replied back with a “Hi”, he then asked “You are here for the refund?” and I replied “Yes”. That was our pleasant exchange. Brian left to go get Ryan (again at his perch behind glass). After keeping me waiting for several minutes and refusing to even look at me Ryan comes out and what happens next is unbelievable! Ryan walked up to me and said “You have just threatened my employee Brian, this is private property and you need to leave”. My jaw dropped- I asked “How did I threaten anyone?” Ryan would not respond to me. I then asked to speak to the GM and was told by Ryan that it wouldn't change anything and then he just walked away. Everyone left me standing there. Ryan goes back behind the glass picks up the phone and calls General Manager Jordon Romeril. I know this because Jordon is also behind the glass sitting at his desk refusing to look at me. He and Ryan talked for at least 20 minutes, this entire time I am left standing at the reception desk alone. Finally Ryan gets up, comes out of his glass enclosure, Jordon gets up goes to his door, asks Ryan if he could handle this, Ryan nodded and came to me. This GM didn't even give me the courtesy of a conversation… unbelievable. Ryan walks up to me not saying a word, punches numbers in the terminal and just turns it to me, again not a word to me. I tried my card and Error message came up again (hmm, same one that I was told was because the machines had been closed 2 days earlier, now at 3:00 in the afternoon same thing). Ryan then said “Your check will be ready tomorrow afternoon” and walked away. Just walked away. The next day I came in, the same lovely receptionist from the first day gave an envelope to me and apologized again to me, I again said to her no need for her to apologize and I left. So I finally got my refund, one that I was fully and rightfully entitled to. Before Ryan ever came into the picture my experience with this place was wonderful. I fully expected to have some push back though for not doing this deal, but because of the great experience I had had up to this point, I figured it would not be complicated. Although I did finally receive my refund, I am far from being happy because one of two people lied about me and slandered me. I could really care less about the unbelievable unprofessional way \i was treated by management, but here is my issue that I am taking seriously. Either Ryan or Brian are lying about me making any kind of threat whatsoever. This is 100% untrue! I never threatened anyone, I never cursed or raised my voice and one of the men have slandered me with an untruth and I expect an apology and a retraction from one of them. On the unprofessional way I was treated, Kaizen Automotive Group you should be ashamed to have an individual like Ryan representing you. If Ryan is not the one who told this lie about me he at the very least owes me an apology for his unprofessionalism, not the lovely receptionist. I do however hope he keeps his job because he looks absolutely miserable doing it. In fact I am not asking that anyone lose their job over this mistreatment however I am not asking but I am demanding an apology from whichever one of these two who lied about me. Brian if you did not say this then your boss just threw you under the bus and if I were you I would think again before working with someone like that, dishonesty comes in many forms. If whichever of these two who lied can man up and admit it I am ready to close this unbelievably awful chapter and I will update all social media where I have posted this starting with YELP. If not I will look at all my options for the slander. Russell Langley Cc: Rick Romeril 1313 36th St NE Calgary, AB T2A 6P9 More

We dealt with Ryan Romano, Ken Woo and Eddy Garcia and they were all terrific. We were very impressed by the transparency and straight-forwardness in which they operate. We asked for their best price and we got it. They beat Crowfoot Hyundai's "best price" by over $1000. Highly recommended dealership! More
