Purchased a 1 yr old vehicle in May and within a month found the trunk was popping open randomly and didn't think too much of it as I thought we were just not shutting it properly but decided to mention i found the trunk was popping open randomly and didn't think too much of it as I thought we were just not shutting it properly but decided to mention it next time we had to take it in for service. Before Christmas the reverse lights went out so I booked an appointment with Burlington Hyundai on January 31st and took it in. They called me the next day to tell me that they needed 3 hours to take the back end apart to find the issue with the lights and that in looking at the back of the car and inside the trunk they said it was obvious that it had rear end damage previously and that it was poorly put back together. The trunk is not within the car properly and you can see a gap all the way around the rubber there's paint or top coat drips on the right side of the car and the trunk is slightly elevated up on the left and when they took the car apart they also found something was not connected. They found several issues stating that it was obvious that this car had had rear end damage and according to cooksville there's no accident report listed on the report. I am still waiting to find out the name of the rental car company that owns the car for the year before Cookeville got it. I have spoken to several people in the industry who have told me that cooksville should have gone over the car thoroughly to certify it but obviously they did not because Burlington Hyundai did not take very long to tell me it was obvious just by looking at the car so why did cooksville not see this obvious damage when they certified it and sold it to me under false pretenses. They told me it came with a full 5-year warranty which is now not being honored because of this damage More

Worst experience at Cooksville. Spent $1400 to drive away with bad steering. Mechanic disconnected my dash camera. No apology. Try to make me think a free alignment after messing my steering wheel was a goo with bad steering. Mechanic disconnected my dash camera. No apology. Terrible experience with both the sales department and the service! They sold me a new Palisade which turned out to be a lemon. I went back with the car within a week mentioning several problems i found with the car and none of them were addressed, as they "could not replicate the issues", even though the issues were quite evident! Had to go to another dealership and get Hyundai Canada involved for them to acknowledge that there are major problems with the car! First of all don't expect any kind of help or customer care from this dealership, once they got your money that is it, there's absolutely no after sales care at all. And the service department, as i mentioned above they are useless, if you need anything more than an oil change you should probably stay away. If you don't want any hassle and head ache then stay away from Cooksville Hyundai! The bad customer service comes from the top in this place, even though i copied the GM on several of my communications, i've never heard from him and more so my last 2 emails directed to him and the assistant sales manager were left unanswered! More
