The seller made a number of promises of updates that would be made to the vehicle if I purchased which actually didn't materialise and was told at some point that if I wanted new vehicle standards i should have bought a new vehicle. I escalated this issue which also rendered into unmaterialised promises until I connected with the "closer" of the deal who actually made things happen. However, while I scheduled a time to bring my car in for servicing for certain issues, some were not met as the dealership was too busy. I was told that I was rescheduled to a different day at a specific time, but when I brought the car in I had to leave it for the entire day. I should also mention that when I called in for servicing I could not remember the name of the guy I was dealing with. I was transferred to someone in sales who say that he was too busy to deal with this. I got offended and he connected me with someone. Overall, except for this one individual, I am NOT impressed. Overall, I find that they are very unprofessional. If you buy a vehicle, ensure that everything is in writing because while they may say something verbally, the dealership will only support what was in writing. BEWARE RESALE VEHICLES. The car I purchased was filthy to the extreme. They do not detail prior to putting the car out on the lot. Even after it was cleaned it was still dirty. The exterior of the car was full of dings/scratches. They said they would remedy but did not want to honor their commitment until escalation. The "closer" eventually made this happen, but not for him, I would give less than a one star review. More

Our sales person (Bill Stanyar) was extremely careful to ensure that the car we bought suited our needs - which is why we went with the Civic rather than a bigger car (like Accord). After buying the car, the service department was also really helpful with the regular service checks, etc (oil changes, etc...). They make the whole process really easy, and carefully itemize every item. And they have a shuttle pickup and dropoff service. So overall it's a great dealership that I would recommend without reservations. More

Very Disappointed I was referred to this dealership for a CRV but I am quite disappointed. Zac found the perfect car for me I recently purchased a used Honda Civic at Civic Motors Honda, mainly through the help of Zac Campbell. I found Civic Motors had the best selection of used Civics in my price range compared to other dealerships in the area. When I first arrived, it was rather busy but after a couple minutes I was helped by Zac. Before taking me to view the cars I was interested in, I was shown their AutoProof report and given their history. I found Zac to be knowledgeable, patient, honest and not at all pushy. I would gladly recommend him to others. There was some miscommunication with the service department that resulted in my new all-season tires not being installed on the car upon pickup. I believe this was mostly due to unusual circumstances and therefore, not something others would likely encounter. I did have to bring my car in to service a few days later to have the new tires installed. Moe, the pre-owned sales manager, gave me a call before I did so. He was friendly and apologetic about the situation, and ended up throwing in new winter tires on new steel rims, on top of the new all-season tires negotiated in the deal. In the end, I am happy to have two new sets of tires for the great car I purchased. Thank you Zac, Moe and Rob for your help. More

Kudos - Bill Stanyar and Civic Motors Honda It's odd, how someone's name pops into a head - quite unexpectedly - it seems - but maybe not. The name is Bill Stanyar, and I think it has something to do with SNOW! I hasten to add, Bill, that I am not holding you responsible for the snow . . . Last December (2017) I was caught in the late afternoon traffic when the first significant snow of the season found me trapped, not moving - at a time when I wanted to be somewhere else. I had a little time to think - sitting in my Honda 'Fit' (yes, that's the car for my husband and me ) - and began to count my blessings just a bit. A couple of years previously, George and I found ourselves - hicks from the Maritimes - now living in the active and thriving City of Ottawa. We arrived with our newly Leased 'Fit' (never drove a leased vehicle previously and needed to find a way to get around the busy city - and find a way to look after the leased 'Fit' appropriately). We asked around a bit, and a friend gave us the name of Bill Stanyar, at Civic Motors Honda. I found out that Civic Motors is away the heck across the city from where we live, in the West end. I had looked, and there was more than one Honda dealership quite close to where we live . . . so I hesitated about picking up the phone. Bill Stanyar, Leasing Manager, returned my call quickly - I needed to talk about the Leased car and what we needed to do. Bill had several suggestions about the process and suggested we bring the 'Fit' in to talk about how to make sure the car got the servicing it needed, when it needed it - etc. I cannot say it enough - Bill was very helpful - suggested several things which could make our dealing with Civic Motors 'work' well. Here we are, two years on from that, still very pleased with the service - and servicing we receive from Civic Motors. When Servicing is needed, Bill Stanyar puts us in touch with that department - and they, like Bill, seem to take our needs into consideration - together, making it a very satisfying, workable experience. We appreciate the customer satisfaction that this kind of communication produces - treating customers as if they mattered!! So, these were some of the thoughts that were going through my mind in that first SNOW of this miserable winter. As I sat there, I realized how fortunate we are to have been referred to Bill Stanyar and Civic Motors Honda. Further to that, the kind of servicing that our 'Fit' has had made me feel very safe, on that snowy day - and that the kind of servicing our car receives is great. I couldn't do anything about the SNOW - but I felt my vehicle was equipped for my safety. I promised myself that, as soon as I got home, I was going to write a Review about Bill Stanyar. I want others to appreciate your great, professional, thoughtful service - and combined with all Civic Motors Honda capable staff, you have much to offer. Guess what? The Review letter didn't get written. Today I was out in traffic again - 'they' are talking again about SNOW! It felt good, though, to know the 'FIT' continued to be in good shape, carefully Serviced - and this little bit of snow talked about today wasn't going to keep me from getting home safely. The penny dropped! The letter of Review that I had promised myself to write, didn't happen.
