The worst customer service experience ever...that pretty much sums it up! I called Civic Motors on Monday September 30th and asked them to perform an overall mechanical inspection because I did have some co much sums it up! I called Civic Motors on Monday September 30th and asked them to perform an overall mechanical inspection because I did have some concerns. The receptionist advised me that I would need a 39 point mechanical inspection and the cost was $86. I dropped the vehicle off that evening and my service techinician was Doug. I "tried" describing my concerns, but I was continuously interrupted. Doug was clearly getting annoyed with me, maybe he had a long day? Either way his demeanor and overall attitude were both very off putting and just rude...definitely not someone you want to represent your company. On my signed contract I stated the three issues I had, also that that no extra work was to be performed without my consent and the vehicle was equipped with multiple aftermarket suspension parts. I received a call from Doug in the afternoon on October 1st telling me that the job would now cost an extra $30 for the oil change. I told him that I had never agreed to an oil change, I just wanted the 39 point inspection. He told me "to bad, the oils been drained and that's that, we're not eating the cost of this". They ended up not charging me the extra $30, but they changed the oil with regular and not synthetic like I normally do. When I picked up the vehicle that evening Doug, who saw us arrive was happily stuffing his face full of food when we approached the counter, he grabbed my keys and told me to pay at the counter. The diagnostic..."we couldn't do anything too many aftermarket parts go somewhere else" is what they wrote. When speaking with the Doug I had told him about the aftermarket parts, I had offered to provide a list of the parts if it helped out the mechanic. Clearly they knew they wouldn't be able to complete the inspection. It didn't stop them from charging me the full amount. Even thought I was leaving utterly dissapointed and slightly aggravated I still had the common courtesy to say "thank you" he wasn't even able to turn around and acknowledge me, just said "Yup!". I was never rude or mean with Doug, yes at times I was annoyed and very dissapointed with how things were going. I also spoke to Randy at 5:30PM on October 1st inquiring if they had changed my oil with synthetic or regular, he told me Doug would call me back, by 6PM it was me calling Doug back. All this to say, I've never been so dissapointed and put off my a place before. It's really unfornutate that a business like Civic Motors isn't able to find staff that meet the high standards that I would expect Honda to live by. I personally will not be going back to Civic Motors, they've ruined it for me. I advise anyone who does take their vehicle here to maybe ask for someone other then Doug to serve you and make sure that EVERYTHING all work being completed is CLEARLY itemized and make sure to specify NO EXTRA WORK without your consent because this is one dealer who will try to take advantage of you. I bought a new leather civic and I had trouble with the car and I'm not able to schedule an appointment with them or have a something done. It is a new car and more I drive it and worst the problem is becoming. I called Honda Canada and then they pass the ball between the dealer and them and nothing is done. It does drive me... But only drive me crazy! If feel like this is almost a scam and this is certainly a place where service is not service and warranty comes with many first have you do this, we won't pay for the alignment outside our garage, we don't have the machine to do it before two months since we share it between garage, you have to call Honda Canada first, call back the garage, we can give you a ride home but you do live too far, we will pay you the car for rent, but we won't... You bough a civic you can't expect the same level has a Accord.... Believe me the list goes on, I bought a new car for the warranty but it is like a war garanty... More

It took a good 5-10 minutes before I was even acknowledged seeing as the admin and Josh were having a very important conversation about rental costs or something. That said, once he came to see me, I found him to be knowledgeable, He was quite quick to brag about how they could beat any price - even pointed to the H on his shirt to highlight how only they could give me a great price. He spent a great deal of time talking about all the features and very little time on figuring out if this was the right car for our family. When I compared HIS best, unbeatable price with a competitor's price, I found out that the competitor's price was almost $1K lower. When I asked if they could match the offer, all of a sudden the tone of the conversation changed quite rapidly. Now he says "Civic Motors is VERY competitive and the other dealer will have trouble matching us" but obviously, other dealers (non HONDA dealers by the way) are more interested in my family's business. Now they will not beat any price but they will be VERY competitive - just like any other dealership. More
I really could not have have asked for a better car buying experience. It was a pleasure to deal with Luis, the salesperson, and Maurice, the business manager. Luis is knowledgeable, straightforward a buying experience. It was a pleasure to deal with Luis, the salesperson, and Maurice, the business manager. Luis is knowledgeable, straightforward and professional. If you are looking to buy a Honda, then do yourself a favour and stop in and see Luis. At the very least you'll meet a really nice guy and you'll probably drive away in a new car that was fairly priced. More
I have to tell you that Civic Motors,in particular the leasing manager Bill Stanyar was just a treat to meet and made the entire process actually enjoyable! I really did not want to get into “buying” a new car at this time but he made it effortless. I especially want to thank Bill for the detailed intro to the car’s features. I have told everybody how he took an entire hour to walk me through everything and they all said the same thing; “I NEVER got nothin’”, so Bravo! I will of course be touting their praises to anyone I hear is in the market for a new/used car; I had not initially considered a Honda but am I ever glad I was sent their way. More
This was my second lease from Civic Motors. I had great service and enjoy all the staff. My Honda guy is Peter Kelly. This is the second car I have leased from him. I had such a great experience the first time that I had to come back. I must have asked him 1 million questions and he answered all of them with a smile. Choosing the right car for me wasn't easy as there are so many options out there. But it really helped that I got the service I wanted and that the product is amazing. Being in the Customer service industry myself I feel its very important to have the knowledge, experience and dedication to serve clients in a professional manner. Peter is an amazing sales person; I never felt pressure and I like that. It definitely made the car buying experience better for me and for that reason I would definitely purchase from him again and refer my friends and family. As a matter of fact I referred my brother and his friend to Peter and they are both Happy Honda owners today. More
Civic Motors was the 2nd Honda dealership we checked into for buying a Honda Fit, They gave us best trad-in value for our civic hybrid. Along with a more accurate costing breakdown for the Fit. We found Len to be strait forward and easy to talk to. He did not pressure us for the sale in any way and let use take our time. He knows his product and can answer your questions with no BS. We have already recomended hin to a couple of our friends who each will be looking for a new car. More
