Impreza I am happy with my Subaru, as I fully expected! I am a little disappointed in the customer service though. I didnt notice there were no weather mats or mud flaps/guards and these optional accessories were not discussed at the time I purchased,or I would have negotiated them in the deal. A week later, once I drove the car I noticed and called my sales rep hoping we would be able to come to an agreement on a better price than on the website. However, I was told I had to pay full price for these accessories, not even a few percentage off. Disappointing. More

However, the problems started with the after sales experience with the service department. I called the service department to book my 10,000 km oil change and was told that the earliest they could book me in was 3 weeks out. That didn't work for me so I went to Minute Lube and had them change the oil. Next I called to book my 20,000 km service and oil change and was told that it would be 6 weeks before they could get me in. I've owned other makes of vehicles and have never had to wait more than a few days to book a service appointment. I work shift work so it's almost impossible to leave my vehicle there as I start before they open or end after they're closed. This of course was never brought up during the sales process and quite frankly if it did I may have looked elsewhere. I service my vehicle religiously and on time but it's impossible with my schedule and work commitments to plan things 6 weeks out. Loved the sales experience but more than disappointed with the service experience. More

First time buyer We just bought our first Subaru - a 2019 Subaru Forester. We were seriously considering Subaru when we stepped into the dealership. And we were impres We just bought our first Subaru - a 2019 Subaru Forester. We were seriously considering Subaru when we stepped into the dealership. And we were impressed by our dealer Alex, who was enthusiastic and patient, knowledgeable and helpful. When we went for a test drive, he showed us cool features in the car. When we negotiated on the pricing, we felt that he was honest and forthcoming, and he tried to strike a good deal for us. We really appreciated the help. The financing managers who assisted us with leasing were very helpful as well. We would recommend Centaur Subaru to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Subaru. We love the car and it’s a fun car to drive. More

Always excellant service! I bought my Subaru Forester a few years ago and loved it! Whenever I needed anything done the service department was able to fix, change or help me wi I bought my Subaru Forester a few years ago and loved it! Whenever I needed anything done the service department was able to fix, change or help me with it in an efficient and timely manner. Recently I was having trouble with the engine using more oil. The service department regularly checked oil consumption, determined the problem and replaced the engine. This $5,000.00 ticket was done free of charge and covered under warranty. I was overwhelmed to have this work done and so thankful for the great service and care given by the dealership. Hats off to Centaur Subaru, they are the best! More
Pressuring and uncommunicative. When I went to this dealership, they first attempted to get a bill of sale written up for a car before I even saw the vehicle or drove it. When I asked to see it they walked me over to it only to look at it. When I asked for a test drive, they asked that my mother and I wait outside in -30 while they casually walked back to get the key. We examined the car and found that it had paint chips, and a few very large scrapes on it. When we drove it the wheel alignment was completely off. As it was used, this wasn’t the problem. The problem was attempting to sell it without informing us of any of these issues. This was on Thursday. After I decided to buy the vehicle they told me to come by Tuesday as it would be ready. I contacted the dealership to let them know I would be unable to pick it up Tuesday and they told me to come the next day. Which I did. I got down to the dealership and they told me it had just gone to the shop. I never received a text, email or phone call regarding the delay. I spoke with the manager and he simply shrugged off my concerns. Thursday I received a text from my contact letting me know that the car would “hopefully” be ready by the weekend. On Friday I was forced to call again, already lacking any trust that they would be able to handle contacting me if it were ready. Inevitably it was still not. I let them know that the weekend conflicted with my schedule and that I would not be able to pick it up until Monday after 7pm to which they replied we are closed soon after that. So I was forced to pick my car up a full 2 weeks AFTER I had already bought it, and 1 week after they had initially told me it would surely be ready. More
Rock stuck in brakes A couple of days ago I had a screeching, scraping, whining sound come from the front driver side when the car was moving. It seemed to come and go d A couple of days ago I had a screeching, scraping, whining sound come from the front driver side when the car was moving. It seemed to come and go depending on the speed I was driving. Co-workers were saying it might be a rock stuck in the brakes and that if I drove backwards and hit the brakes it would dislodge the rock. Which I tried for 2 days and it didn't work. I called Centaur in the morning and they were able to fit me in to take a look. The rock must have finally dislodged itself on the drive down to the dealership. The service department did a front end inspection and a road test and found no sound. They explained it was probably a rock that worked it's way out by itself. They didn't charge me for their time which really impressed me. I would definitely recommend Centaur. More
