I took my 2008 Honda CRV into Castle Honda for service for two separate issues. Issue #1 when I was applying the break pedal, I could hear a strange grinding noise. Issue #2, while driving my car felt lik for two separate issues. Issue #1 when I was applying the break pedal, I could hear a strange grinding noise. Issue #2, while driving my car felt like it was not as smooth a ride as usual and I was feeling all the bumps. I spoke to a service advisor named Lenny. Lenny took my keys. In approximately 5 minutes I saw a mechanic drive my car to the other end of the parking lot, drove back and parked in front of service. In total the mechanic was in my car for a total of maybe 30 seconds and never even took my car into the garage to look at the issues. Next thing I knew, the service advisor, Lenny, called me and said there was no problems with my car. I drove to a near by private garage and explained the two issues with my car. The mechanic at the private garage told my that the breaks were shot and I was lucky I was able to stop at all. As for the rough ride, the private mechanic told me that my shocks and struts were ceased up, this was the cause of my rough ride. My advice, stay away from Castle Honda and from Lenny in service. I brought my 2009 Honda Civic in on two different occasions and no help from the service advisors. - When I brought my Civic in because I was experiencing a pulsing and vibrating sensation when occasions and no help from the service advisors. - When I brought my Civic in because I was experiencing a pulsing and vibrating sensation when I was drinving at highway speeds. I asked the service advisor if while doing the wheel balancing, the mechanic could also check the tire pressures in all four tires for me. The service advisor told me "the mechanics don't get paid to do that". In addition to the wheel balancing, I offered to pay for the mechanic to check the tire pressures. Again the service advisor told me the mechanics "don't do that" and I was turned away by the service advidor. I had my Civic serviced at private mechanic not far from Castle Honda, and the mechanic informed me that all 4 tire pressures were at 25 PSI and should have been at 32 PSI. They adjusted all four tire pressures to 32 PSI at no change to me, all I paid for was the wheel balance. Give me a break, what mechanic doesn't check tire pressures when a customer feels there may be a problem and also offers to pay for the service? This is the first I have heard that a mechanic refuses to check and set a customer's tire pressures to the proper settings. - When I brought my Civic in for an oil change, my maintaince minder on my dash was calling for a service a and my maintaince minder was a 9%. I was told to bring my car back when my maintaince minder was at 2%. I asked the service advisor since I already booked time off work for this, could it please get done. The service advisor became very rude, he raised his voice and I am not exagerating when I say he literally got mad. Again I was turned away and asked to come back in a few days. I admit that I don't know anything about cars, that is why I have always depend on Honda dealers to service my 2009 Honda Civic: case in point - when I had my car in for a wheel balance, how much effort would it have taken for the mechanic to check and set the tire pressures to the proper PSI as I requested, even when I offered to pay. But the mechanics at Castle Honda "don't get paid to do that"? I have never heard of this before from any mechanic. When my maintance minder was on my dash asking for a service a, how much effort does it take to do an oil change? More
They booked and appointment and when I dropped of the car, they were ready for me with a loaner car. They said the car would be ready by 3:00 pm and it was. They also washed the car at no charge. Finally car, they were ready for me with a loaner car. They said the car would be ready by 3:00 pm and it was. They also washed the car at no charge. Finally they explained what they did and charged accordingly fare. More
This dealership sucks. I came to try and find out info about the 2011 honda CRZ, only to be told that they dont have one on the lot and no dealer in the GTA has the model. I was then told that whatever ad about the 2011 honda CRZ, only to be told that they dont have one on the lot and no dealer in the GTA has the model. I was then told that whatever add-ons or mods i put on the car will void the warranty (ie,, MUGEN parts). I was also told there were back seats in the car and the space inside was the same as the honda fit. The sales guy led me to the interior of the honda fit and showed me the spacious leg room for the back. He then tried to sign me up for financing with pressure. I asked about how long castle honda has been around and was told 35 years (i doubt this because there are no reviews on the place.. probably very recent). So.. i then drove to missisauga honda where a british guy told me they had 2 CRZs in their lot. He showed me the interior and i found out that the fricken car has no back seats or seatbelts. He then offered to import MUGEN parts, and explained that the warranty is not void as long as all the parts or paint or modifications are done thru the dealership. No pressure at all, he just said "sorry for your bad experience earlier today with the otherhonda dealership, let me know if i can help you futher" and left me his card. Overall, Castle Honda lied to me, gave me false information, tried to sign me up to a product that would have ended in dissapointment etc. STAY AWAY. THEY DONT KNOW ABOUT THEIR OWN PRODUCTS. THEY WILL LIE AND PRESSURE YOU INTO SALE. Thats my review - Tobes More
