Later we realized that he would say anything to have us just sign to buy the car. He told us it was a certified used vehicle, but later we were told that the 2015 Hondas were not certified, and that he should have known this from the beginning. He also assured us that the satellite radio feature was available for one full year, which was an option that we really liked and had a hand in our decision to buy it rather than another civic we had seen from richmond Honda. This also turned out to be a lie. I understand their willingness to sell cars and having owed a few Hondas in the past I've always had a certain level of respect of how they conducted business as a company. But having been lied to and not realizing it until it was too late has really killed my confidence in the this company. Later I also realized they had given me an owners manual for a odyssey instead of a civic. And when we tried numerous times to contact them to get the correct one, we were told every time that someone would call us back but no one did. It took them a whole month of badgering just to receive what was promised with my car, a correct owners manual. They also took no responsibility about the lies that the salesman had told us about the salt elite radio. They said since the salesman was no longer with the company there wasn't anything they could do. Maybe they should hold their salesman to a higher standard. I can see by the other reviews that I am not the only one with an issue with their customer service. I think this speaks widely about how this dealership conducts their business. More

What an amazing experience we decided we wanted a Honda....and we wanted one right away...we were planning on purchasing in town and last minute decided to call carter Honda jus we decided we wanted a Honda....and we wanted one right away...we were planning on purchasing in town and last minute decided to call carter Honda just to see what they would offer...we were very specific about what we wanted..within less then a hour we had a phone call back with Exactly what we wanted at a deal we could not refuse....so we traveled 9 hours to pick up our car....well all we can say was it was well worth the drive...all the staff were over accomidating taking special interest in every single aspect...they took us through all the steps from A to Z making sure we got the best deal and truly the best service...definitely would highly recommended and definitely will come back for next purchase More

Was told I could only find the price of a car I wanted if I came into the dealership. I don't have a car and agreed to come in if I got a ride there and back. 1. Got the ride there no problem 2. After I turned down a more expensive car they refused to give me a ride back home. Shopper beware. Customers are treated like tools and you can expect dishonesty at best. More

I really appreciated the service I received at Carter Honda. Everyone one very kinda & respectful. My first visit was great, but I thought to myself let's see what happens over the long haul. HAvd been back half a dozen times and have always been treated very well.
