First Class treatment even for minor work. A high-pitched squeal was coming from under the hood of my '92 Accord. I suspected the alternator belt was worn or didn't have enough tension and A high-pitched squeal was coming from under the hood of my '92 Accord. I suspected the alternator belt was worn or didn't have enough tension and after an unsuccessful attempt to replace the belt myself I decided to take it to a professional. I'm very happy I made the decision to chose Carter. The Service Department didn't grumble at me for providing the belt I'd purchased elsewhere. I appreciate their understanding and willingness to do so. (I know some places would likely give you grief for bringing in a part not purchased from them.) When I dropped the car off I had prepared myself for a day or two turnaround for the service. They offered a round-trip shuttle to-and-from my work. Add to that, Carter Honda had the replacement done in under 3 hours! The shuttle driver (unfortunately I misplaced his name) was safe, efficient and fantastic, and we had a great conversation during the trip. All the people I dealt with performed their work well and were outgoing and polite. This made the entire experience with Carter a stand-out overall. At the front counter I dealt with Patrick who was energetic, friendly and answered all my questions. (As a novice, it would have been appreciated if a service person had briefly explained the replacement and if there were any issues but when I checked under the hood and saw the shiny new belt, then hopped in the car and the engine turned over without any irritating squealing I was overjoyed and confident in the work done.)
