I apologize if you felt that our staff weren’t as empathetic to your situation as you would have expected. After speaking with both Ryan and Brent, and based on my personal conversations with you, from the beginning you gave our staff impression that you were more interested accusing us for causing this failure on your vehicle and as I said to you “came out slinging mud at us”. In my many phone calls with you I had explained that I agreed with you that the suspected caused was over torqued lug bolts and that we had never touched the left front wheel (that had come loose). You had explained to me that another garage had this particular wheel off recently. Somehow you still suspected that we were somehow responsible. I even went as far as retrieving security footage to share with you showing that not only did we not touch the left front wheel but on your most recent visit for the headlight replacement, we never had the vehicle off the ground. You were scheduled to come in and meet with me personally to review this but I have yet to meet you. I understand that you are frustrated with the situation and how it was handled by myself and our staff myself. If you feel that I deserve a negative review based on our interaction I will accept that as we could not come to a mutual understanding and you are entitled to your opinion. I do however find it inappropriate that you would publically imply that any member of our staff was negligent in any way. I would ask that you reconsider the wording your public review.

I will try to keep this short. I started off incredibly positive because things could have been much worse. What should have happened is a diagnosis at your shop. You would have seen that the other front wheel wasn't over tightened. You would have seen the failed bearing and hub assembly. Having just replaced the two rear wheel bearings, that should not have been a complete shock to you guys. I should have been pitched a diagnosis, not a new parts list. Ryan shouldn't have brushed me off. You shouldn't have treated me like a burden. THAT is when my attitude changed. How do YOU react when people brush you off or don't take you seriously?

Good morning Derek, I'm sorry to hear that you feel so negatively about your dealings with us. I remember you visited us a few times on a specific rebel we had in stock, and we were unable to reach an agreement. I've tried to reach out via phone call but unfortunately there has been no answer so I will respond to your claims here. First off, you can blame me for not providing you $7,000 for your trade. As you seem to have an idea, the EC price on the particular vehicle you were looking at is exactly $6698. You are entitled to that amount through your friend at Chrysler. You're trade was worth $5,000 on the first day that you came in and remained that way until our final encounter. It is my understanding that you agreed to a payment with Mike, which is why you drove down to sign the paperwork with our business manager. The reason I take the blame for your trade allowance is that I decided to give you an additional $1400 off the price of the truck to reach your payment as opposed to showing you a "fake" value for your trade in order to achieve your desired payment. I believe I am correct in saying that we achieved the exact payment that you were expecting and had agreed to, when you arrived at our dealership the final day of negotiations. As for the warranty concerns, it is at the discretion of our business managers at what price they are willing to sell the warranty for. If you purchased the warranty for $3115 at Arnprior Chrysler then that is, as I'm sure you are aware a tremendous deal. I would ask that you please refrain from stating that our business manager specifically told you that he had to make $2000 profit on every warranty that he sold, because that did not occur. I am all for trying to make a point but it is unfair to accuse someone of something they did not say. In fact, I overheard him trying to sell you the warranty for less than $5,000, which completely contradicts your claim that 1) he would not drop it, and 2) that he had to make more than $2,000. We take great pride in handling every customer with respect whilst doing everything we can to meet their expectations and be completely transparent with how we discuss figures regarding every sale. Once again however, I will apologize that I showed you a bigger discount off the vehicle as opposed to inflating the price of your trade in, to achieve the payment you had agreed to with Michael. I never like hearing that a customer feels as though we wasted their time and I apologize that you felt that way on multiple occasions. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
