Safety an issue, poor training of sales staff We were happy to get a great deal on a 2018 Toyota Camry however our experience picking up the car was very unpleasant. Our sales person told me to sign off on the vehicle delivery certificate without actually doing any of the actions on it! He reluctantly gave us a tour of the dealership and showed us features of the car only when I told him that I will have to get his manager to do this if he refuses to do so. It was like he did not even read the certificate himself despite his signature next to each item. He also did not know the warranty terms or what a maintenance schedule is, thus I did not receive a maintenance schedule. To top it all off, when he showed us the car and was setting up the Bluetooth I noticed that there was no airflow in the small garage and asked to have the garage door opened since the car was turned on and it was taking a long time to set up the Bluetooth. The salesperson looked at me with a blank stare and didn’t understand why even after I told him about carbon monoxide. I then had to get my husband to explain to him that we will die if he does not open the garage. The new car pickup appointment should be one of the happiest and easy moments for a salesperson as the tough job of selling the car is already complete, but this individual could not have done a worse job of doing so. I sure hope that this isn’t an indication of the performance of the service department as I have 5 years of oil changes at this location. However we did have a pleasant experience with the finance manager who does the car registration. More

Confusion over warranty coverage. Experience with an intermittent trunk locking problem + difficulties with mirrors malfunctioning over a few months led to my confusion/lack of clarity Experience with an intermittent trunk locking problem + difficulties with mirrors malfunctioning over a few months led to my confusion/lack of clarity as to what is actually covered by the comprehensive warranty package purchased with the vehicle. Although initially frustrated by the experience I was re-directed by the initial customer service representative to speak with xxx't Service Manager Caj, who telephoned me and took considerable time to listen to my description of the problems and then facilitate what I thought was a fair and helpful resolution to the situation. In view of the overall experience I do not hesitate to recommend working with the Service Department Team at Canyon Creek. Peter O More
Charging for things not actually being checked I took my 2011 Tundra in for its scheduled free oil change but was required this time to do a $175 vehicle inspection to keep up with the Toyota Maint I took my 2011 Tundra in for its scheduled free oil change but was required this time to do a $175 vehicle inspection to keep up with the Toyota Maintenance program for the free oil changes. Being very mechanically inclined I do some of my own maintenance as well. I sent my wife to take it in and they tell her all the driveline fluids need to be changed as well as cabin filter and a few other things, around $1000 worth of service lol. So my wife mentions all the driveline fluids have been changed and the service rep back pedals and says they recommend based on mileage and they can't check the fluids without draining them. I guess if the vehicle is tipped on its side or upside down the fluid would spill out of the FILL PLUGS....? And the week old cabin filter that's CHARCOAL IMPREGNATED must look dirty by design? How about lubing the prop shaft? I did leave a bit of extra grease from me greasing it on the zerks to see if you would still suggest it and you did. What about the customers who aren't mechanically inclined and have no clue what your upselling and if you even checked it? You know what you guys missed on my vehicle? It needs a minor wheel alignment and the belt is squeaking but those weren't suggested and I was expecting them. This is the third time, i almost didn't take the truck at purchase when your detailing department buffed the side and swirled the paint. Shame on you for representing such a great brand so poorly! Terrible dealership go elsewhere I bought this vehicle under the clause that my vehicle went through s thorough checklist to ensure it was in fine condition when I picked it up. There were many things that were overlooked as if the person completing the survey didn't even check on the vehicle. That really bothered me and no apology was made. I have to go there for services and the services are bare minimal and very inconsistent. The service was 100x's more consistent at my old Hyundai dealership. Don't waste your time here More

Excellent service for 9 years In 2008 we bought a new Sequoia and since, have had all service done through Canyon Creek Toyota. We have been impressed over and over by the thoroug In 2008 we bought a new Sequoia and since, have had all service done through Canyon Creek Toyota. We have been impressed over and over by the thorough, accomodating, efficient & caring staff. This week, we had a small item that needed service and Lawrence & team were top notch again. Our Sequoia has 311 000 km on it and it runs as good as ever. We enjoy driving our Sequoia and working with Canyon Creek has added to the quality of our experience with a Toyota vehicle.
