First visit for service, drive car second from the top, introduced my self to person sitting behind desk, wait beside your vehicle someone will be you you shortly. Another car comes in on opposite side, he introduced my self to person sitting behind desk, wait beside your vehicle someone will be you you shortly. Another car comes in on opposite side, he helps that person , I'm still waiting, not impressed. Girl first counter walks all thway to my car and we start the procedure, I state I'm getting my oil changed today for the first time, she said you have to do a number one first or cancel it to get your oil done today. I said, why wasn't told about this we could have done both items today. I handed her the report card and you would have thought I given her something she's never seen before, her only response was, what's this and we can't do that, and she kept the report card and never gave it back to me. I had enough and returned home getting nothing done. Called later to rebook and coordinated number one and two together, for time management. It's a pleasure to be hired on as logistics coordinator for Toyota Canyon Creek. I look forward to Christmas party this year. D. Gauvin. P.S. are presents optional. More

I had to think long and hard about this revue I don't like to leave negative revues but feel I need to let people know about Canyon Creek Toyota. I made an appointment to bring my 2022 Toyota Camry hybri like to leave negative revues but feel I need to let people know about Canyon Creek Toyota. I made an appointment to bring my 2022 Toyota Camry hybrid for a slight miss on cold start up, the miss disappeared after about 1 minute after the engine has been running. I drove the car for 2 weeks about 800 kilometres with no issues just that miss at start up. I brought the car in the day before May 29 2024 for the appointment so the tech would have the car first thing in the morning to see exactly what I was experiencing. I was told when I seen the service writer (Philip) Toyota may not approve warranty for diagnosis because I do my own servicing, I said I had kept records but I did give the authorization for the diagnosis. In the morning I got a call from the service writer letting me know number 2 cylinder had a miss fire due to fuel and I was asked if I wanted to clean the spark plugs or if I want new ones. To replace the spark plugs would cost about $200 installed, I asked how long the spark plugs should last and I was told they were only half way though there expected life. I said to clean them and that is what they did and then the tech went for a road test. In his words ( the vehicle would shutter aggressively under light load ) They suspect fuel is bad, they said they would need to do more diagnosis to confirm and I would need to pay for it, I said no and I would pick up the car. I picked up the car and when I drove away the car was in electric mode but when I was on the roar the engine started and it had a vary aggressive shutter that it did not have when I bought it in I drove it home. When I got home after driving 15 to 20 kilometres I opened the hood and removed the engine cover and found 2 coils not connected, I connected coils 1 and 2 and started the car and it is back to normal. No more shutter just a slight miss on cold start up. The service department charged me $194 and did nothing except made the car run vary bad after they worked on it. After driving the car home I now have an engine light on because of the raw fuel going in the catalytic converter. I do not want to go back because I don't trust that dealer. I don't believe me servicing my car had anything to do with the problem and I don't understand why I had to pay for the diagnosis. I have never had a problem with fuel before, I get my fuel from Costco, there is no way it could be old gas. I like the car and Toyota brand but feel like I can't go back to this dealer More

Canyon Creek is the classic example of a dishonest import franchise dealer that is only interested in making a profit. Do not expect them to honor a factory warranty on a OEM factory dealer installed part pu franchise dealer that is only interested in making a profit. Do not expect them to honor a factory warranty on a OEM factory dealer installed part purchased from them because you will receive nothing but double speak and platitudes, as I have recently experienced. I'm very unimpressed with Canyon Creek and especially their service department. Having taken my prized Toyota there since 1992, they will never see business from me ever again. And I would recommend other Toyota owners to do the same. Nobody from Canyon Creek has made any effort to contact me. Caveat Emptor. More
Tuesday, June 13/2023, I took my vehicle in for maintenance which included an oil change, transmission fluid replacement and tire rotation. I was delayed and wasn’t able to arrive until late mornin maintenance which included an oil change, transmission fluid replacement and tire rotation. I was delayed and wasn’t able to arrive until late morning and the service department was busy. I really didn’t anticipate it getting done by the end of the day, but was pleasantly surprised to call and find it ready to go and at a price lower than I was expecting. Thank you Lawrence. I find all the receptionists, service advisors and mechanics a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. More
I started using Canyon Creek Toyota due to it location. The staff have been professional and helpful until this last visit where the tires were installed on rims that I had purchased there. I noticed a shi The staff have been professional and helpful until this last visit where the tires were installed on rims that I had purchased there. I noticed a shimmy at higher speeds and took it back in. It was obvious the the tires had been balanced incorrectly and this was confirmed in the end by the technician. I was disappointed with how the Service Manager manipulated the narrative in order to not admit responsibility for their mistake. I have enough experience working on vehicles to know his explainations warranted further questions. The vague responses and half truths from the Service Manager to my questions were insulting and frustrating. In the end the Service Manager presented a garbled explanation without admitting their mistake and actually stated “we’re not going to charge you” for the fix as though I should be grateful. It cost me 5 hours of my time and 2 trips to Canyon Creek Toyota to have the issue resolved. The trust I had for Canyon Creek Toyota was compromised with this interaction and I would feel concerned for a person in a similar situation that has little or no mechanical experience with vehicles.
