Think twice if buying an Acura as service here has gone massively downhill post COVID - perhaps due to ownership change (?) - and you'll be living with that. One example - Service appointments cannot be booked without being re-directed to a call centre in Asia so if you call to book first thing in the morning maybe you get a call back at dinner from someone who has language challenges and is not familiar with the concept of snow tires. Not sure why they outsourced an Ottawa job to Asia to save a few dollars given decline in service quality. Another example - you may find they do not complete service work on time as promised or will reschedule your appointment to another day at the last minute - not great if you are juggling work / family schedules. Another example - New staff at service desk just not familiar with car mechanics and tell you things that are incomplete or plain wrong - you can't rely on what they say and you may wind up paying twice for re-work or re-diagnosis (1 hour labour minimum or $179 I think to check out a noise fyi) as they don't provide any credit for their own errors. I love my MDX but unfortunately my next vehicle will not be an Acura More

i dropped my 2021 RDX on 26 aug for Auto-Idle Shut Off not working. they replaced a fan and it didn't fix the fault. another part (dc-dc converter) had to be ordered in. i live very far from Camco (in Pet not working. they replaced a fan and it didn't fix the fault. another part (dc-dc converter) had to be ordered in. i live very far from Camco (in Petawawa) therefore i need a loaner. However all their loaners were being used, so Mr. Gareth Spencer went out of his way to get the permission from Acura to pay for a 4-day car rental. it took numerous phone calls and a lot of technical details to correctly approve my situation for me to get a rental car, free of charge, to get me on my way home after a 5-hours waiting period. Job well done for Mr. Spencer, a great service manager. More
Once again I am very disappointed with Camco Acura. Last Dec, my 2021 RDX was in to have the whole brake work done with Acura parts and trained mechanic and thankfully it was covered by the warranty. Last Dec, my 2021 RDX was in to have the whole brake work done with Acura parts and trained mechanic and thankfully it was covered by the warranty. Last week I had to bring it back in because there is rubbing sounds came from the wheel on any speed!!! I waited for 3 hours for them to "check" the brakes and do an oil change. My son and I, we can get this done in less than an hour. The service department told me that it will need brake work again! I reminded them that it was was done by them just a few months ago. They said that is normal with the winter driving, dirt and other debris could got stuck in the breaks and cause the noise!!! and since the brake noise is a NORMAL wear and tear, I have to pay al most $200!!! I told them I have some credit from Acura and the Manager is aware of this credit so subtract the bill from that. The service advisor told me that she does not have access to the said credit and insisting that I have to pay for it, I asked to speak to the manager but got a run around. Finally, although I am very upset and disgusted, I politely paid for it. They gave me my key back and said the car is in the waiting area. I went out but could not find my car. I return to told them that my car is NOT where they told me! The service advisor take me back out and found my car park way at the back of the parking lot!!! I've been Acura owner for a long time with MDXs and RDX and I NEVER have this issue! Is Acura quit caring for its loyal customers or any customers or this is just the Camco Acure! I don't recall any issue dealing with Acura dealer in Gatineau. I thought I was alone but it seem many other sharing the same horrible and frustrated experiences. Even though Camco Acura is the only dealer in Ottawa, but since they only care about the money and refused time and time again to give me back my credit from Acura; I think I will take the extra time to go to Gatineau to do my business there. More

Re: my experience with the service department over an 11 year period. Long waits for even routine service such as tire and oil changes. Lack of parts in shop ,therefore weeks to obtain from Montreal depot. Never have I had a loaner ,unlike my prior Dealer service departments. More
Appointment on May 1st for tire change was long and delayed by a shortage of skilled technicians and the subsequent discovery of further service need for rear brakes . I had a service appointment for our RDX in early April. This was to remove snow tires, install summer tires and other services related to my Acura Precision package . The work was well done but I had a discrepency on the services included in the precision package . I decided to follow up with the service manager . Following 5 tries .. so no returned call to me. Iāve even left a voice message with the General Manager. NOT IMPRESSED. Following the service call, they send you a text message asking to inform them of any issues with the service . I asked to speak to a service manager .. still no returned calls today. I realize that people are busy but seriously , it shouldnāt take weeks for a service manager to return a call . More

Our buying process from beginning to end was excellent. Our sales rep Kayla was very attentive to our hopes and needs and did everything possible to work with us within her parameters to reach a deal that Our sales rep Kayla was very attentive to our hopes and needs and did everything possible to work with us within her parameters to reach a deal that was win-win for everyone! Tony and Joseph were very professional and made us feel very comfortable and we trusted them. Overall, a fun experience! We highly recommend Kayla and Camco Acura. More
