Worst Service Department I took my 2016 vehicle in for an oil change and to be checked as it was making some weird noise from the bottom of the truck. I pay a little extra on I took my 2016 vehicle in for an oil change and to be checked as it was making some weird noise from the bottom of the truck. I pay a little extra on the monthly payments so I get the vehicle checked and serviced every time needed. This was in morning of the service, Explained my situation of how I was meeting my parents in Kamloops for the weekend and if they had a courtesy vehicle available or if I needed to rent one. I was told that the job would take longer than a couple of days and that there should be a courtesy vehicle available and I would be given a call mid day, in order to make arrangements if the vehicle was not ready. I get a call at about 4 pm notifying me that they my truck should be fine to be taken for the weekend and to make another appointment when I get back to fix the noise problem. I cancelled my rental vehicle, and took the chance believing that they did a thorough check. My truck ended over heating and a line burst on the Coquihalla, lost all power while going up hill. Was lucky enough to get it to the shoulder and be in an area where there was some sort of reception. Made a call to roadside assistance, than made a call to dealership to see if they can help us out with making arrangements to see if they can notify the dealership that we were coming and if a courtesy vehicle can be arranged as I believed in them to check the vehicle for SAFETY when I took it in. Talk to the representative I was dealing with and was told he would make a call. No call was made to the Kamloops location, they had no idea we were coming and most of all we were stuck at that dealership with all our luggages. Rental vehicle company in Kamloops was all sold out. I wish I didn't buy from this location, I was left disappointed and dissatisfied that the service department did not help or couldn't even recognize that this vehicle was not safe to be driven. This pretty much a brand new truck and I really wish I didn't buy from this location, so I wouldn't have to deal with this sort of substandard service or or intolerable experience.
